On Friday I had a little tickle in my throat... no biggie... on Saturday I woke up and didn't feel GREAT but was up for a trip to NH with Husband... on Sunday I went to SS and church and couldn't WAIT to get home...
Monday I woke up and had NO idea how I was going to make it through the day... but I was up and off... by 11:30 Marisa and my RN were sending me home and I was very grateful... I got into my bed for 2 hours but could.not.sleep. I got up and got cozy and headed to watch Miss B in her LAST 7th grade bball game... it was a DOOZIE but didn't go how we hoped... bummer.
I went right to bed in hopes that I would be all set for Tuesday.....no.such.luck.
I spent most of the day here...
and here...We don't use our jet-tub very often but I am SO GRATEFUL for it when we need it...
I went to Minnie's game that night but literally just sat...
On Wednesday I went back to work but in hindsight it was not a very good choice... I was BACK in my bed by 3:55 and got up only to get back in the tub and to eat the grilled cheese Husband made me... had a mini-meltdown and FINALLY fell asleep at 9:30....woke up Thursday KNOWING that I turned the corner... and recognizing that coming to work yesterday was not.my.finest.moment.
Being sick is not something I do often or WELL... but the 100% WORST of it is managing the dang blood sugars.... they were HORRIBLE... I wasn't eating barely ANYTHING and I was ripping through 40 units a day.... I usually go through about 28-35 WITH EATING all day everyday....
These are not numbers I enjoy....
Grateful for being on the mend....and A HUSBAND who took such good care of me
but WHEW that was ROUGH!
