Miss B's 8th Grade Promotion Dance

Man those two years went by FAST! Or should I say 13 years!?

and getting prettied up with her friends

so I knew 8th grade promotion dance wouldn't even been a QUESTION on if she was going or not.

While we didn't find anything on this particular day....

She did decide on a dress from Amazon and thank goodness for Mimi who altered it so she could feel comfortable and look AMAZING! Special shout out to Minnie for help with a minor wardrobe malfunction :)

Sweet group of gals that got ready together at our house... they had so much fun!

My beauty queens!

HOLY SMOKES the difference 2 years makes... and a few more inches as well :)

Alicia took this picture and it cracks me up... walkin' the gals to the photo opp! :)

She had SO much fun and danced the ENTIRE night! She loved everything about it and I am so SO happy she had fun! Here comes high school!!!

Boston

The CountryMouse managed the big city!!! And by that I mean HUSBAND managed it! :) Thank GOODNESS!

He was matched up with a kidney stone specialist about a month ago... the first available (that worked with the chaotic track schedule) was on Monday, June 15 at 8AM... in Jamaica Plains! Yikes! WE KNEW we would have to go down on Sunday night in order to navigate all of the traffic etc.... we just MISSED the part that oh... a little thing called THE WORLD CUP was happening as WELL as the Red Sox having home games! Ack!

Husband NAILED it in this traffic... in the TRUCK... (not that my car is that much smaller hee hee)

I sent pics to the girls to see if they were jealous of the city and all the cars...I assure you... they were NOT. Home with Sky for a sleepover and getting their nails done!?!? Yeah, they were content to be home :)

16 min to drive 2 miles... goodness....

I appreciate the trees but not my "normal" view from my 2nd story window... and this was the 5th floor...

we woke up ready to tackle the day... made it to the hospital, Husband had a great conversation with the Dr, a CT scan and an order for an MRI to see if we can some answers and solutions! We are hoping to do a lot of the consultations via telehealth because....

we both MUCH prefer staying HOME vs. the "big city" :)

April Break: Part 1

Guess what season it is.... whoop whoop!!!!

Guess who's STILL injured from last year... whomp whomp. Got an xray, and scheduled and MRI just to be sure... doing an ibuprofen regimen per ALL the medical professionals... and we shall see what this season holds... COULD be a "torn" pec muscle... obviously we don't want it to get worse... but for now... she's pushing through....

Cuz I mean.....

Saturday Husband and I headed to grab some things at the Home Depot and I assure you... our house did NOT look like this when we left but we were sure happy to see it 2 towns over!

Speaking of happy... he loves an only child trip... bah!

Saturday afternoon Minnie wanted to head to watch her buds in their last softball game of a playday and Husband and Miss B were headed to do something fun... so off we went!

Love textin' my girl's peeps! :)

She pitched a great game and they won!!!!

but it was SOOOO DANG COLD... Like no sunshine, 40's, raining when we left, COLD...

GOOD thing she's cute!

While we were grabbing take out pizza and heading home, Husband, CJ, Miss B and Small Paul were at a "Beast Feast"... a wild game night put on by another local church... Miss B was SO excited... she was looking forward to trying "bear"....

but ended up with BEAVER instead... (someone took the last bear meatball?) No.Thank.You.

but they HAD A BLAST!!!!

Not so fun was losing to the Celtics... she put this shirt on as a photo op for Guinny but she prob should have left it on to see if it was good luck!!?!

We also heard that our breeder (of Barks) got a new puppy.... she reached out and asked if Miss B was available to meet him... um... yes.please.

Meet "Rooster".... Barks Dad was lost this winter and Brya just needed another big giant fluff ball for her homestead....

We are IN.LOVE.

Miss B's comment... "Day.Made."

That afternoon the boys showed up to pick up CJ's maple candy he left on Saturday and after lots of giggles and shenanigans in the house, they headed out to do what they do best... try to fix a vehicle/electrical problem... this time it was Husband's truck....

Conversing about the minor dent...

Meanwhile... we've lost the girls. Ha!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE when this crew is together... Minnie had to leave for a sleepover/bonfire but it was fun while it lasted!!!!

Love these babes!
