The Weekend Report

A WILD and crazy Friday night in the big city for an MRI... clearly she's less than impressed... but we gotta get this shoulder figured out.... praying for results sooner rather than later...

Miss B and I planted all my dahlias on Saturday morning while Minnie and Husband went to practice...the rain moved in for the afternoon so we headed to NH to grab a few plants... 

Came home and these two started on the Mother's Day tradition... Husband's fav.  ;)

Went with hot coral this year... picked out by Husband and Miss B... 

Gosh I love 'em....

Minnie had to ref in the afternoon but we ended the night with Husband's amazing grilling....

Thanksgiving Break

I had promised Miss B that on Friday we would decorate for Christmas. The girl has been asking since HALLOWEEN! I did put up festive shower curtains but that was IT... Until after Minnie's birthday/Thanksgiving!!!

These two headed out bright and early to now what is my FAVORITE tree tradition (Click HERE for past years)... they go pick one out and bring it home! :) I love it!

They picked a BEAUTIFUL tree... I love supporting local and that it's all set up!!! 

Minnie had practice and then we drove them up to go to the movies with, as Minnie put it, my five best friends aged 6 and under. (Not pictured was C and C who didn't last the whole time)

This guy and I got to run around and pound out a couple of Christmas errands and even left enough time to grab some apps at a local restaurant before heading back to pick them up.... 

We made it home just before CJ showed up and we all piled in the living room for our FAVORITE....

MOVIE!!! :)

Saturday after practice the sickies that had been plaguing this girl finally got the best of her... I ran her over to the Walk-In and sure enough... as is her fashion... sickies during/near her birthday... always.... bronchitis for the win this time... so glad I took her... 

Same baby... same bear... similar couch....

Non-stop fun, family, and Varsity bball will do that too yah... but 3 doses of a Z-Pack and she was SOOOO much better!!!

Miss B and I served in nursery and then the gals headed to L&L's for the 2nd annual eat all the sugar and frosting you can :) I stayed HOME :)

The gals and I finished off the tree and we all had a little case of the Sunday Night Blues... but three more weeks and then the holiday break! HOORAY!

The Ice Cream Post (Last Day of School)

As you all know, when Minnie was 9 months old I started having "the kids" in the summer... we started a tradition of getting ice cream on the last day of school and the last day of summer... it's gets a little challenging sometimes to coordinate schedules but I am SO SO thankful for these two making my dreams of tradition come true :) 

I wanted to have a post with most of the ice cream pics in one place... took some time but it was fun time :)

2014, Last day of SCHOOL.... FIRST DAY OF SUMMER...

Last day of summer vacation... and in this post I said "I have no idea what I'm going to do without this girl.." and in the past few weeks she has bailed me/us out MORE TIMES than I can count since she has been HOME!

August 2022 Welcome BARKS!!!

And just 10 short months ago.... 

Now the big girl is HOME FOREVER!!!! MY big girl is HEADED FOR HIGH SCHOOL.... AND Miss B will be middle class man at Husband's school.... 

and this guy is going to be someone's HUSBAND!!!! (I mean, it's Josie but still... a HUSBAND!)

OH I DO LOVE this tradition and I thought we should really have a full post with the "ice cream" pictures!
