On Monday the weather moved in and honestly after the summer we've had of 90 degrees and no rain... we were not grouchy about it... it felt AMAZING to wear shorts and sweatshirts and be COMFORTABLE...
We still went down to the lake because... well... it's our favorite... 
and I loved that we were almost IN the clouds... most of Bald Mountain COVERED by them...
and the gals didn't mind the weather... the water temp was so warm...
and calm... a welcomed change from the white caps that scared Barkley :) I love how this water is different EVERY day....
but alas... you can only stay out SO long in the raw and wet so we headed back to get cleaned up to head into town...we have never been to Moose Alley before... the gals had tried to go on a trip once with the Penney's but they were so busy they couldn't get in... so we were there for doors open at 3PM and got one of the last ally's open (is that how you say that? :) It was big ball which I don't know if I have EVER done and it was very tricky for Miss B...
but we made the best of it and had a blast... on the way home we swung by to see a camp that a past co-worker of Husband's has built (and my 7/8th grade P.E. teacher ;) and he and his wife happened to be home...
we had a nice visit for about an hour and 1/2 and then were anxious to get back to this guy....
The waves were back the next day and peeks of sunshine...
This guy wasn't a HUGE fan of swimming or the big waves but he LOVED digging in the sand... once he had one hole he'd move forward about a foot and dig again, filling in the hole he had just dug...he had a blast....
Camp hair don't care... sweatshirts for the win...
and I SWEAR he walks... just not much obviously....
