The Weekend Report...

Special Guest at FND (Friday Night Dinner ~ That was for your Mama H :) Everybody loves Rebound... I mean how can you NOT? But these two.... LOOOOVVVEEEE Rebound... and clearly you can tell he doesn't mind a bit... Speaking of someone else that LOOOVVVEEESSSS his dog :) Yes, Husband's head IS that dark... yes I DO try to get him to wear sunscreen and amazing enough... his Vitamin D is VERY VERY low...??? :) You can imagine what happened immediately following this picture... "Sky, STOP! LET GO OF HIM!!!" :) The girl is wild and that's just one of the million reasons WE love her... her brother... mmmm not sure that's one of his top 3... :)

There was EXTRA fun on Friday night at J&E's house but I didn't catch any pics... too busy trying to beat up E in Wii boxing... surprisingly it didn't go as well as it usually does for me... hrrrmm.... I declare A REMATCH!!!! :)

Saturday Laura Jane and I headed out bright and early to go NORTH to meet up Heidi Bree. It was so fun to eat, hang out, eat, chit chat, eat and giggle... did I mention....Eat??? :)

Before we left her house though we had some hang out time, where I let Laura Jane hold the baby for aproximately 45 seconds... thought I should probably capture it for proof... I don't want to be accused of not sharing :) But haven't you heard you really should NOT wake a sleeping baby....or dog? See little Molly on the other side of me?? :)This is my "too much touch" face :) I do love you so though Laura Jane... you know I do :)And little man getting all ready and geared up to hang out at his "other" Nana's house for the day...

but not before I make him pose with the gift he is IN LOVE with from Laura... :) yep. The box. :) H.B. teaches her kids to be thankful, appreciative and to enjoy the little things in life... good job H.B. :)

Speaking of her... this picture is mostly for CountryDad who calls her Heidi Hair... :) I wonder why? She is talking to her hubby who is in IRAQ but will be home in just a short 4.5 months!!!Ready to shop....

I know it is Sunday and we have a whole day left in the weekend but we are headed in to see Grampa this afternoon and not sure he's really up for a photo shoot... loves to all...

Thursday night dinner...

Other than SLEEP to keep my mind off of everything that has been going on this week... this is one of the only things that sounded like a good time to me... I mean REALLY... he's always a good time... Here he is when I told him that GA was on the phone... :) (ok, that might be an exaggeration of the truth... or maybe not the truth at all but I'll never tell...)Good time?? Yah... him?? Not so much :) Just kidding... he was trying to re-inact another certain picture....And have I mentioned lately how thankful I am for this SIL?? :) She has stepped right in :) Do you think we are related? I know that "everyone" wants to claim that he looks like them in some way but you judge for yourselves...:)Entertainment of the evening, which I'm happy to say will not happen again because Husband was sucessful.... the string of dust hanging from the cathedral ceiling.... Mission accomplished. 1 nerf basketball, 1 110% jock-stud with crazy aim, and down came the dust string... (NASTY)Lovin' on Reebsie...I love my boys...

Updated: Prayers for Grampa

* They did a CT scan of his neck last night to make sure that his neck break wasn’t worse… and it is.

Dr. won’t operate on his hip unless they do something about his neck and that’s not really an option. So at this point, he’s not having any surgery, they are making him as comfortable as possible and... trying to figure out where he’ll be moved… back to the Nursing Home with my grandmother or to Hospice…..:(

Grampa is back in the hospital yet again...late yesterday afternoon he fell in the nursing home (rehab for his broken neck remember? :( ) and was complaining of hip pain... sure enough he has broken his hip. He'll be going in for surgery at some point today...

I am blessed by an army of prayer warriors in both my family and with my friends and I am calling on you guys today. Please pray that he makes it through the surgery OK, that my parents will have peace, that Grampa won't be in too much pain (the man is stubborn and doesn't even take Tylenol) and that through it all Grampa might see his need to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour.

Saturday AM I met with with this girl for coffee and had the opportunity to meet (and clearly put to sleep :) 1/3 of her children and the youngest... nothin' like a sleepin' baby!!

Fun with this one on Saturday night...oh yeah, I TOTALLY have a sunburn!! Sat on my deck in a tank top (with the snowbank breeze coming across the deck) and got some COLOR. When you live in northern New England, we take advantage of any sunny opportunity in March and April. We've been cooped up inside for FAR TOO LONG! :)Sunday after church we celebrated CountryDad's... aka.... Tractor's.... aka... Grampa's birthday. Of course there are million pics of the cutest one there...

Oh yeah.... THERE'S the birthday boy!!! (and just for the record, JJ, J and CountryMum were there... I just love pics of Muffinman!!! :) hee hee hee and speaking of cute...
We are going to use this move on how NOT to get the LADIES.... until he's 35... And just as soon as one party was ending another party showed up.... :) M.T. and J.T. showed for for comfort food of chicken pot pie and homemade bread. I think Husband and I were still stuffed from birthday lunch but we shoveled it down anyway and had a GREAT time as ALWAYS with these guys! You know you have a blast when you run out of time to watch the movie because we get chatting so much.... whoopsie :) See you guys on Tuesday and no talking until after the movie :) BAH!

My Dad loves me unconditionally and has proven that over and over again throughout the years (yeah, sorry 'bout that Dad...:)
