The Weekend Report

On Saturday AM we headed out bright and early for CHRISSY!!!

HOORAY for sunshine, a new patio, Daisy and NO BROKEN ARM this time! :)

Husband helped get the lawn mower up and RUNNING! 

and we just had the best time hanging out in the sunshine with our best girl!

This cracked me up... she jumped right on for a ride....

but not before she handed Husband her phone and drink... hahaha

This was a good time lemme tell you.... electric bike around the house... SOOOO FUN!

But Chrissy's fav part.... brushing the girls hair... they each got 30 min. no more no less... gotta keep it fair.....

We ate lots of yummy food, watched tons of bball and hung out until after breakfast on Sunday

Made a quick stop at the outlets and were home by late afternoon so that Minnie and Husband could do Maple Sunday.... 

In the MEANTIME... JJ stayed with Barks and did THIS while we were gone.....

Barkley was living his best life with Uncle JJ... window down and everything!

He even got to meet a "new friend"....

Gals came home to the old living room TV mounted in their den so I guess maybe that will be the April break project... Husband needs to text the painter :)

The Week...

Fun surprise visit from JJ and the boys... had to snap a photo for CountryMum's digital picture frame....

The Reader's Digest version.... 

Last week Husband had a CT scan to see where the kidney stones he knew he had been moving were... STUCK is where they were... so Monday he had a Dr appt and on Thursday they did surgery. A "bit" more invasive than the procedures he has had in the past but he did great and will have a follow up next week.... this guy sure does keep me on my toes... it's a good thing he's CUTE! 😍

School Dayz

One of my K/1 teachers had a couple of owl pellets left from her class and offered them to Minnie and Miss B.... I thought they would actually LOVE it but apparently it is "gross" to do science now... :) Husband and I got RIGHT into it...

  

but I guess... yeah... kinda gross :) hahaha

Continuing with our Magical March Madness for the staff we had a SALAD BAR on Monday... each team (K/1, 2/3, Office, etc) was responsible for an item... it was SOOO YUMMY!

On Thursday we had a lady come with a whale presentation... she fit this whole thing in her CRV....sooooo cool.....

Semi-Wordless Wednesday

Miss B had a special project (think Science Fair) that I was able to take time off for in the middle of the day to attend. So proud of she and her group for the creativity. Working together (with one other girl) is hard sometimes but they persevered and did a great job! They even won 2nd place for most-innovative!

 

The Weekend Report (GIRL TIME GIRL TIME)

Husband headed out of town (AGAIN) 😜 ice fishing so the gals and I had a girlie weekend... Friday they were JUNK...Miss B had some drama at school we needed to work through.... we ran an errand, grabbed some food and set up shop on the couches... much needed REST.... 

On Saturday we headed out to Biddo for errands and to get a new gel polish color for SKY to do their nails... man the girl saved me a boat load of CA$H :)

They came out SO WELL! They LOVED them and the time they spent with Sky... I loved sitting on the deck with SIL L and getting some SUNSHINE. The weather was gorgeous and I came home "sun-kissed" :)

On our way home I had Minnie swing into the empty church parking lot so she could practice parking, driving in, backing in and used Miss B as an obstacle :) She was such a good sport!

and BONUS Minnie didn't hit her! :) Well done! :)

Miss B and I had nursery on Sunday... played with our fav girl and had full belly laughs.. her personality cracks us up!

Unfortunately Miss B was down for the count by the time I got home from the church business meeting... poor thing... low-grade fever and a home day on Monday (thanks Meems for checking on her!) but she's back to herself thank GOODNESS! 

The Weekend Report

On Friday there was a propane leak at the high school first thing in the morning... they sent all the kids that drive to school home, bused the other kids to the middle school and ultimately sent the high schoolers home.... Minnie opted to come up to me and get some volunteer hours in with Mad-Money.... they had a BLAST  working all day but THIS was the scene by about 7:30 Friday night...

But this is tucked right under her chin :) (I mean obviously minus the bink! hahaha)

And speaking of working hard at SCHOOL....Miss B brought home THREE awards from their end of semester assembly. So proud!

On Saturday we eased into the morning and then Husband and Minnie headed fishing. This was the ONLY picture I got.

and apparently according to FB (I.loathe.FB.) it was Women's Day or something...I just used it as an opportunity to feel SOOOOOO BLESSED that I have these two gals of mine and SOOOOO grateful they still ask me to do their hair on a Saturday night.... 

Not her FAV thing to do but I know she'll come around.... drove us all home in the TRUCK from church on Sunday.... I love me a chick in a truck! :)
