Pheebs Turns THREE (and just a cute one of MIL and Miss B)

A quick blip in the party festivities just to show off that sometimes we (SIL L) DO capture MIL on the camera and how sweet is my baby girl? :) I'm biased but OH.SO.IN.LOVE. :)

On Saturday AM the gals and I headed over to Pheebs for her THIRD Birthday party! I can't BELIEVE these girls are getting SO big. I'll be saying the same thing in 13 years when they turn 16... just for perspective... Sky will be 24 and could very well be married and have her OWN kids by then... AHHHHH STOP THE CLOCK!!!!

It was all things "Pinkalicious" and what a GREAT job her Mama, Memere and Daddy did to get all ready for the festivities!

Happy Three Sweet Pheebs! What a treasure you are in our lives and a little love to your friend "See-Nah" :) I look forward to watching you blossom and grow and the Mouse House feels so blessed to have a little piece of your heart in ALL our lives!

The Weekend Report + Monday

 Minnie and I had an ADVENTURE FILLED weekend. Daddy was off Monday but it is hunting season and he still hasn't "caught" "YUM-YUM" so we grabbed baby sister and headed off for some outdoor fun of our own! :) Tamarah and Lil' were SO sweet to entertain the Mouse House gals with their swing set! Minnie LOVES LOVES LOVES this "Boogie Swing".

 The little one was just happy to hang out and watch the big girls on the swing set!

 Fun at the "W" house! See Joe, MY girl wants to play with this set until it's splinters :) Your hard work was worth it for her! :)

 On Monday (Daddy's day off spent in the woods again :) the gals and I treked it north to see HB's new pad with Laura Jane and Baby N. This is the first chance we've had to snag a pic of the little friends who are just 4 weeks apart.

 They were fast friends...

 Until N tried getting a little TOO snuggly :) My girl started to cry which then made HIM start to cry. They are both just so sensitive :)

 and the "big" kids! :)

 After lunch we headed outside to enjoy the 60+ degree day in NOVEMBER and the fields, creek and toys in the yard. Please note me getting my crunchy hippy on... a few kids, one baby wearing, and some chickens round my feed in front of a farmhouse :)

Miss B ~ HAPPY 3 Months!!

Happy 3 Month Birthday Sweet GIRL!!!

What fun we are having with you as an addition to our family! We ALL are addicted to making you smile, hearing you talk and watching you take in EVERYTHING! You are the MOST content little baby and I am EATING up every single second with you. I just wish that more of them happened during the day vs. the night. :)

I looked back at your big sister's 3 month post

and have noticed there is a LOT different... a little bit the same but you sure are your own girl. You typically wake up for the day around 5-5:30 (ack) and then love a nice LONG morning nap from about 6:45-7ish to close to 10. If we are home you sleep in your crib in the room you'll share with Minnie (HOPEFULLY VERY SOON!) and I think you LOVE it in there. You get wrapped in a blanket, given a bink and put down. You lay there quietly and then go right off to sleep. Once you wake up you eat and then will hang out and play. You prefer to be entertained which works out OK right now because Minnie is in the entertaining BUSINESS.

 

You'll typically take another little rest and then eat again (3 hours after the last time). Right now it seems like you and your big sis are "off" as far as napping together and that makes for long days for this Mama who would LOVE to take a snooze! It does give you and I an opportunity to snuggle and chat and play though and these days are fleeting so I'm trying to enjoy the moments. :) After afternoon naps, you eat again around 4ish and will hang out to play with Daddy, sit with us during dinner and use your big girl voice. You are a little more "fussy" around dinner time but nothing too bad and you usually just want your big girl crib. You'll eat again and then go to bed for the night between 8-8:30 but I'm pretty sure you'd prefer to go to sleep at 6. Trying to get this all figured out...

The past couple of weeks we've had some rough goes at night. You aren't "grouchy" per say but just unsettled. You are squirming and squawking at 11ish, 12ish, 1ish and finally around 2 after I've been out of bed 4-5 times to re-insert the binky, you eat and will sleep from 3ish until 5ish. Rough goes for the Mom round these parts. One of your parents doesn't require as much sleep and lemme clue yah in... I'M NOT THAT PARENT. :)

You are wearing mostly 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers. You LOVE people to talk to you but you are starting to come into the "Stranger Danger" phase which is new for me because Minnie never did that. You know your Mama and you do love me quite a bit :) (The feeling is mutual :) Minnie is also one of your biggest fans and it makes me smile to watch you both talking and smiling and giggling at each other :) You, just this week, started doing "raspberries" and trying to laugh. THE BEST NOISE EVER!!! :) You love to ride in the car but getting all bundled and INTO the "bucket" is not usually your favorite part.

I can't imagine being THIS sleep deprived for anyone else my sweet love. You are a JOY to be around and I can't even get my mind around how fast the next 3 months are going to go. Here's praying you are sleeping through the night by then.

Miss Karen's Birthday!

On Monday I rallied up some of our friends and we surprised our dear, sweet, faithful librarian with birthday treats!!! She had no idea we were coming and we quickly enjoyed...

 cupcakes (it was a birthday after all and just ASK my girl if you can have a party without cake.. :)

 Bucket 'o Babies with Binks Parking....

 and the BALLOONS! :) Best part was the "Yiz" and I did not even TALK to each other about color schemes. I asked Minnie what color we should make the frosting and she said blue and yellow... and in walks "Yiz" with the same colored balloons! :) FUN!

 It was a bit chaotic but a great way to spend a chilly Monday afternoon on the first snowfall day of the season... cupcakes, juice boxes, birthdays and friends. FUN!
