The 1st and 2nd grade classes had a field trip in the big city and it happened to be on a Friday so Momma got to go!!! It was NOT the best place for a whole bunch of little people but the crew I had made the best of it....
as did Minnie's teacher! :) We all just love her spunk, creativity, and craziness :)
and because we are in the process of the long goodbye... Liz and Mick took the kiddos for the night and Husband and I got to try a new Mexican place that was SO SO YUMMY! Uninterrupted conversation and guac? Yes PLEASE!
What a sweet treat to be able to celebrate this boy.... the original plan was for our amazing friends to have moved before his birthday but thank GOODness (for us!) that the timing did not work out that way.... and a blessing to get one more b-day with this guy....
Soak it up gals... I just keep telling them all to soak it up....
I got my hair cut and Miss Dayna asked if I wanted her to blow dry it or diffuse it or anything and typically I just take my wet-headed self home and wash and do it up the next day. But then she offered to straighten it and I said SURE... Why not!? :)
Miss B could not ever remember a time when she had seen my hair straight. she loved running her fingers through it and kept saying "you look like a different Mom!"
Minnie LOVED it and said "you just look SO cute Mom!" :)
Sure was fun for the 24 hours it lasted but once that water hits it.... ah well... :)
Living the dream with my best friend, Husband, our daughter "Minnie" who was our miracle after 6 years of dealing with infertility and "Miss B" who showed up about 2 1/2 years after :)
