Well....

On Friday SIL Bets was getting more and more uncomfortable...by Saturday AM she was in so much pain that she went to urgent care where because of the severe pain in her right side they were thinking kidney stones...gallbladder... maybe appendicitis... because they (BMC) thought she needed the best of the best to determine the appendix route they sent her to the "big building" for a CAT scan.

 

 

They found a tumor.

 

Wrapped around her colon.

 

We can't get our minds WRAPPED AROUND THAT.

 

They admitted her to the big building where Minnie refuses to go at this point :( ....and she is awaiting a colonoscopy.

 

... poor SIL Bets got a good dose of Mrs. Coordinate and Organize. "you are GOING to have Dr. R (Husband's surgeon) because we've already HAD the best and we'll settle for NOTHING LESS!!!" :)

 

SIL L was at a soccer game with Sky today hanging with Dr. R's BFF. Said BFF called Dr. R who then proceeded to call MMC and then call SIL L's cell phone telling her she WOULD be the doctor in charge now and that she'd be in tonight to see SIL Bets. We are not messing around.

 

At this point... prayers for Bets of course... and more info to follow as we are in the know. For those that may be hearing this for the first time here on the blog... we apologize. Things happen fast 'round these parts and you just gotta hang on.

That goes for you Bets. There is much to live and hang on for... no matter what gets thrown at you this week you have a TEAM behind you ready to support, attack and just BE THERE. We love you!!!
