HAPPY 11 Months Miss B!!

Today you are ELEVEN MONTHS OLD Miss B ~ uh... say WHAT!?!?!

You spent your special day with Mom, your Aunnie and Mimi. Aunnie had her very first (of 12 total) chemo treatment today. She did GREAT and you were a fantastic distraction. You waved and smiled at all the nurses and other patients. Exactly as I hoped you'd react. :)

You are just the HAPPIEST baby ever. You literally smile at everyone and get all kinds of people to say "oh my goodness she's soooo cute" :) You eat it all right up.

This past month you went for your first swim in TiTi's pool, your first camping trip and Mom was away from you for the first time for more than 1/2 a day (almost 12 HOURS!!). You have grown yet another tooth (we are now at 1 and 1/2), two days before your 11 month birthday you figured out how to pull up on things other than Mom and Dad's hands (time for the coffee table to go back to the basement), you wave hi and bye, blow kisses, GIVE kisses, high five, and clap.

 

You can say: Dada, Mama, Up, "Na-Na" for Minnie, and squeal when we do it. We think you say "hi" sometimes and "thank you". You are working really hard at your sign language and you can sign "thank you", and you know what the sign for Daddy is. If I do it you'll say it. Instead of doing 'more' you clap :) and you shake your hands or wave for 'all done'.

 

This has been the month that you mastered the "HAPPY GIRL" :)

It makes us ALL laugh no matter how many times you do it. We just LOVE it. You love your walker to scoot around the house but I think are a bigger fan of crawling so that you can use your independence to get wherever you want. If Minnie is in the den that is your favorite place in the house :) you LOVE to play in there with her.

 

You laugh when we tickle you or pretend to "come atcha" :) Full on belly laughs that Mom is ADDICTED to :)

 

Your "normal" day is up around 6:30 AM, snack of Cheerios then breakfast that is pretty much whatever we are eating plus some of your baby fruit. You have decided you like bananas ~ yippee! AM nap is around 8:30-9AM where you have a bottle beforehand, and you will go for about an hour and 1/2. You wake up to play for a bit and then will eat lunch with Minnie around 11:30-12. You'll eat baby food again or pieces of cheese, crackers, fruit or pasta. Mac 'n Cheese is by FAR your favorite food. :) You have another rest from about 1ish-3ish. You'll have a bottle when you wake up and then will play until dinner time at 5:30ish. Sometimes (often) after your PM nap you are a little bit "tricky". You like to be held, entertained and snack until dinner time. After dinner it is more play, a bath (which you LOVE LOVE LOVE) and to bed by 7ish.

 

After that... it's a crap shoot. (that was for you T.W. :)

 

You are up anywhere from 1-3 times a night and it is BRUTAL. WE ARE SO DONE with you getting up in the middle of the night sweet girl. PLEASE PLEASE stop waking the house up.

 

I have started to pull together some things for your first birthday sweet girl and can't BELIEVE you are ELEVEN MONTHS OLD!!! We all love you so much and can't imagine a better addition to our family. You are AMAZING little one and we thank GOD for you!!!
