Catch-Up Post (Mostly The Weekend Report)

On Wednesday "Kevin" sent an elf pet for Miss B... she was OVER the top excited... she sat down on Thursday night (the day Kevin came) to read through all his past notes and messages... I love this season for her! I told the gals on Sunday it feels like it has been the Miss B show for the holidays but honestly if she wasn't encouraging all the traditions and forcing it, might not happen until MUCH later....so thankful for her excitement... makes it contagious :)

On Saturday AM we busted out for some fun family time in the drizzly rain... hail hail the gang's all here!

First stop Harvey's :) 

I just stayed in the car with the boy because 1) I rarely eat any of it and 2) he was crying up a STORM that his people had all left and going into a building and he couldn't see them... sad...

course once they came back he had to go to the WAY back... his first trip back there and I think he LOVED it... all the windows and being able to move around... just no way he would have left THESE alone :) Can you blame him?

We got home in time to unload what we had hunted and gathered and the gals and I took off to meet the newest and LAST litter of Bernese puppies :)

and Brya surprised Minnie with a birthday gift... a blanket similar to the one Miss B got for HER birthday back in August... Minnie LOVED it... so adorable... and SO THOUGHTFUL!

This was the extent of our annual Christmas Tree Pick-Out...Since our farm has OFFICIALLY closed, our big kids were at school or work you'll have to click back to Our past pictures which are more fun and exciting but I LOVE the trees at Giles.... So...here is where we went...

and that's our tree... getting set aside for Husband and Miss B to pick up after church... 

It's currently UP in the living room but nothing on it yet... Husband likes to wait for it to "drop"... fingers crossed we can tackle it after school sometime this week... Won't be today though.... HERE COMES THE BBALL!!!!!
