The weekend started on Thursday for the Veterans Day weekend with the Golf boys at the house for their banquet. Such a good group of boys... and some extra gals sitting down there on the floor taking it all in :)
Harp and Chuck slept over and the gals talked me into a trip to Biddo to get arts and crafts projects...
kept them busy for almost 2 hours!!!
And they all wanted to put in blue hair for me... sweetie peetey's
the final projects! They did a great job! :) 
The gals rolled out just as CJ was rolling in... he and Husband headed for the woods... unfortunately he may have "nicked" something but we are fairly certain "she" was OK... the five of them PLUS Barks tried tracking but there was no blood trail... so it was back for backyard football
including this guy this time! He texted me probably as soon as his mother dropped off CJ asking if he could come hang with the gals and eat pizza... um... YES PLEASE...

but fed them cookies instead...
CJ had his GoPro on so he and Husband were able to walk through and talk at length about the shot, what they thought happened and what to do differently next time...I have been SO thankful for the teachable moments between the two of them this hunting season... all good stuff...

On Saturday, CJ and Husband waited for sun-up so they could go back to tracking, due diligence... and when they came back we all jumped in to tackle some projects. They worked on wood and I worked on THIS..YIKES!
Stopped for lunch and for the guys to get back into the woods...
Felt good for progress! No luck with any other deer but that's ok... gives me another weekend with the boy :)
Sunday post-church was groceries, Zuppa Tuscana, Monster Bars, football, Gilmore Girls and cleaning up that pile 'o leaves! :)
