Weekend Away

It was BACK to Moosehead for Husband AND Minnie... she was SO sad to miss last year and was thrilled to be BACK!!!

Kicked off Thursday afternoon with a match for MC... pic sniped by one of her friends... she's on the left :) 

and we went home to play Jeopardy and eat Publick House! YUM!

Friday I was off from work and Do-Do sent this picture!

Miss B and I got ready and headed on an adventure!!! I had some errands to run and one of them included a drop off at Goodwill.. it dawned on me that she had never been to Reilly's bakery....Soooooo I parked in front of the theater... she was COMPLETELY confused until we turned to cross the street and she saw the big sign! WIN WIN for Miss B! Girl loves a bakery.... 

Bonus surprise....we walked in and there behind the counter was one of her very favorite teachers... 2nd grade Mrs. Randall... on the exact day... 6 years later (Friday, March 13, 2020) that schools closed and Mrs. Randall started zooming in our home.... I WISH I had snapped a picture when she came out behind the counter to give Miss B a hug and Miss B was taller than her!

and on Friday night Miss B and I watched CJ's SkillsUSA awards ceremony online... it was LOONNGGGGG....

but the fact that he WON def. helped!! :) Soooooo PROUD of him!!! Pic courtesy of Miss B because I was racing all around the house looking for the charger because my phone  was going to die!!

In cleaning up traps on Saturday afternoon Husband let Minnie snag this flag... at least she got ONE... :)

Miss B and I did lots of deep couch sitting on Saturday, (I did run to Walmart) and enjoyed our home (and dog)

On Sunday we had nursery... LUCKY us!!!

I wasn't mad about this...

and neither was Miss B :)

Husband and Minnie were home unpacking when Miss B and I got back from groceries! Hooray! I jumped into the kitchen to make food for our Irish potluck at work (Monday) and Miss B had been begging for yeasty rolls since I grabbed this butter a few weeks ago...

SO happy they were able to get back to northern Maine together again doing their favorite thing together with friends (and family). But SOOOOO HAPPY they are HOME!
