"Extra" Family and a Re-Inactment

On Saturday night J.T. had organized for some of our very favorite people to all be around the same dinner table... WHAT A GREAT TIME!! :) J.T., The Dude, Dani, Husband, Minnie, the CountryRents, J.T.'s rents, Auntie Joyce and Uncle Ralph and their daughter and her hubby the YG leaders... I'm sorry... you will just always BE the Youth Group Leaders :) We all went to Uncle Bob and Aunt Judy's house and enjoyed company, BBQ, and dessert with the little ladies as entertainment. And I mean Minnie and Dani... not J.T. and I. :) Though I'm sure we were of some entertainment as the veteran Mom's watched these rookies :)

Minnie "sees" these guys at church each week but this was her first up close and personal encounter. I think she's pretty smitten :) it's not hard to be, he's a really likeable guy :)Yeah, she's a fan :)
One of our main reasons for getting together was so that we could re-inact the picture below....Easter 1978
Easter 2010:

And then we made the Grampa's step up...

Meanwhile... behind the cameras it was like a little show they were all watching...
hee hee hee....
Sweet sweet memories... Minnie is a lucky girl to have so many surrogate grandmothers in her life... so blessed.

Before dinner the ladies had a little playtime... though note that Minnie is already in her jammies and should have been heading to bed soon... ah well... there was no time for bed :) And I'm sorry there are a million I can never pick just one! :)

After dinner I put both the girls in Aunt Judy's recliner... they thought they were just the cat's meow...
until it appeared there might be some trouble over a toy...

uh oh...and they were all done... :)

nuh-night :)

Next time y'all get together, you need a photo of the Dads, their girls and their girls' girls. :)

Loved the fight over the toy. Wish I saved ours - I would send it right up to even out the playing field.
