It honestly feels like it hasn't BEEN a summer... part of that has been the travel for sure... but this dang WEATHER has been the other part... it has been nasty rainy drizzly humid no sunshine for WEEKS ON END...That does NOT feel like summer in Maine!!! Imagine if these guys had SUN!?!?!
On Saturday AM Husband went to help spread some gravel at a retired game warden's house and the CountryRents came over for a quick visit.... the gals had been missing their Penney crew so I texted Marisa first thing in the AM and we were able to make it work in the afternoon. Husband needed to go to Cabela's for jerky seasoning... and when you take 4 baby rednecks in they find SOMETHING to look at and do :)

and we made it home in time for Marisa to snag them in her Jeep and take them to a local baseball game! Husband and I got some deep couch sitting and TWO episodes of Heartland! :) Win/Win!
On Sunday we got this guy! Oh it makes me SO HAPPY when he is here!!! He wanted Husband to help him make jerky with his venison burger and I think they were both in Heaven on earth...
Add in rainy movies, candy, walks to the pond and in the woods... 
EVERYONE loved his visit!!!
