Because we are not going "north" this summer for our annual vacation, we decided that Tuesday would be a day of "stay-cation". Our family has never ventured to Peak's and in fact try to avoid all things saltwater unless it's "fishing" for Husband.
We figured out the ferry, booked the golf cart and knew the lunch plan... This one was NONE too impressed with a ferry ride but once we got her on I HAD to take a pic to send to Fi (who is well versed at ferry rides in the summer) to show her that we DID IT... SHE WAS ON THE FERRY and HAPPY about it :)
and then picked up the BEST part of the day... ask any of us.. we all agreed the golf cart was the WAY.TO.GO.
We explored...
We stopped (peep Minnie)
and we even hiked through a jungle for a bit... :)
and according to A*I* we found a Lion's Mane jellyfish... by "we" I mean Miss B... unfortunately the tide brought it too far in so it was likely dead but Miss B told me they can still sting when they are dead so none of us was going to decide the fate...
We found an empty beach and picked sea glass...
Had a sub-par lunch and figured out that the ferry schedule we "thought" was an hour later...whoopsie... at least we didn't miss it....enjoyed corn hole on the lawn of the restaurant next to the beach..
Enjoyed the views on the way back....
sometimes it's the simple things and a $100 golf cart ride :)
