Kicked off the first weekend of break with ICE FISHING of course.... Minnie wanted to sleep in and in fact thought about NOT going fishing but after this game and this season....Husband and I both decided she NEEDED some outside time.....so I surprised her with a trip to our fav breakfast place FIRST (in the opposite direction of fishing) before we picked up Abbey and headed to the lake...
Bonus fun was that it was at the Walker's so there was HEAT and the Johnsons!!! Minnie caught one fish....

Miss B and Px4's dad *might* have used this guy as their own personal "stone" in their game of curling but I assure you he LOVED every SECOND of it! :)
I was promised full sun and the cozy deck... I did have a fire but there was NO SUN... Until I left... My friend Louise took this picture and showed me how beautiful it was... once I was home. Hahahaha!
It was the PERFECT day for a reset and EXACTLY what MINNIE NEEDED!
Other sights from break....
On Monday the gals wanted to go support Abbey at States... we dropped them off and hoped they would be able to find a ride back to our vicinity....
Thank goodness this crew showed up to give them a ride! :) HA!
Track kids are the BEST kids. You can't convince me otherwise :)
