April Break/Easter (One GIANT Post)

Phew....it is the FASTEST break of them ALL... especially since we had such beautiful weather for much of it... 

Started off strong on Friday with a chitty chat on the phone with Tamarah flashing my new kicks :)

When Husband got home we zipped to Rochester to pick up the new generator. While we were on our way I got a text from Jess saying that Trem said they had chicks at Tractor Supply. Since we knew they sold out fast and Husband and Miss B were dead set on them... Trem grabbed a few and dropped them off to Miss B and you can TELL she is in her happy place....

I was spoiled before leaving work on Thursday with gifts for Admin Assistant day.... loved these pretty tulips that I got to enjoy the ENTIRE vacation....

There were multiple turkey sightings and pictures sent to the Walkers since he was hoping to be at our house for opening day....

Saturday the gals headed to SNHU with SIL L and Sky...and had a GREAT time!

My Easter Sunday crew!

On Monday, Husband took a few of his throwers, including Minnie, to Bates College for a clinic. This girl tagged along with Mama to my first dermatology appointment and errands near the mall. We had a very fun morning, enjoyed lunch out and happy to be home early afternoon :)

and more turkeys.... :)

Thursday was the BEST day with some of our BEST girls... Tamarah and Miss O came over for baby chicken snuggles...

and 4-wheeler rides....

You know... all THE REDNECK things....:)

They ended with trying to wash poor Barks but he was having none of it... Husband to the rescue to finish off the job! :)

Minnie wanted to hit up the LAX game on Thursday afternoon so we watched JV and then left the gals with SIL L and ran to grab dinner. To say that the MouseHouse was happy with their purchase would be a HUGE understatement.... we miss our beloved Low's SOOOOO much...

Friday my new and fresh patio umbrella came... Miss B and I talked about other colors but we really do just love our teal with red chairs :)

Bonus Friday... JJ and Ho-Hahn came for smash burgers and he also enjoys a good chicken snuggle :) Weirdos.

Saturday the gals headed off again with SIL, Sky and MIL and went shopping... Husband and I headed out when they got home and went AXE throwing! Not something I ever thought I would do and def. out of my wheelhouse but a VERY fun time! (I am the bullseye on the right!!)

We were there for a 50th birthday party, met some very fun people...

Hung out with Miss B's buddy... (it was her Dad's party)

and had SO much fun with my guy to end our break!

FIRST Varsity Track Meet

and MY GIRL came out guns blazin'....

So FUN watching her compete FOR her Daddy!

Even MORE fun to have these gals with her!!!

and SO much better now that they are wearing the RIGHT color!!! Phew!

Little sister club back together again since Chuck is doing track this year... HOORAY!!!

Hahahaha... the softball team came over after practice and she could not have been MORE thrilled to spend her afternoon measuring throws....

My girl was psyched to have her there though :)

Minnie finished up with jav (after she ran the 200m) and it was a battle to the end between she and C-Line :)

They ended up tying for first but because Minnie's 2nd throw was further than C-Line she came out on top....

Husband was THRILLED with his Freshman and they scored the majority of the points... taking 2nd place... hip hip HOORAY!!!

The Weekend Report

I kicked off my Friday with a phone call with Tamarah which is my FAVORITE way to spend ANY sort of day... and I started pulling some dead out of my gardens while we were on the phone...

but in classic CountryMouse form I do tend to jump into these things wearing bright white Nikes and the Patagonia with Lululemon leggings so I wasn't REALLY ready for yard clean up....

I do feel bad when Husband has to clean up my mess... but that didn't last LONG on Friday....

when I found THIS in my dryer and through my load of darks...

it didn't take me too many guesses to figure out where it came from.....*insert eye roll*

 On Saturday morning this crew was up and at 'em bright and early for the LAST OFFICIAL day of Harvey's Bakery.... the long standing tradition passed down from MIL's family to our own kiddos.... 

They arrived shortly after open, in a snowstorm and they were numbers 58-60ish

and the reason they went.... Bismarks, Maple Rounds, Raspberry Turnovers...

He didn't have to ask this one twice if she wanted to leave the house at 6AM for Harvey's :)

They survived the weather....

The emotions....

and my home is FILLED with things that make my blood sugar go up just smelling them :)

But they sure were HAPPY! :)

Gals and I spent the rest of the nasty weather day snuggled on the couch... until Minnie drove Husband to Shaws.... after church on Sunday this girl and I headed out to run errands, do a little shopping and make some returns... no photographic evidence which I'm bummed about because she was lookin' sooo cute... so this pic will have to do.... sooooo cute :)
