Baseball Boys: Little AND Big

On Wednesday the girls and I had a "day on the road"... we attempted to go hang with "Aunnie" at chemo but she "failed" her B/W so no chemo until next week! Hip Hip HOORAY! We did errands, hair cuts and ended up our evening by watching our fav little guys play baseball....see if you can find them...

Miss B is looking....

The evening was perfect, the bugs were minimal and it was a fun night back at an "ol'park" we used to hit up when someone else was a little guy....

(Should we be concerned? ;)

Speaking of "the little guy"... Miss B jumped in on the "Sr. Game Picutre" moment...

and then came running over to me saying... "did you see me in the picture Mama!?!? Did you!!?" Whew this girl...

Daws doing what he loves...

So crazy to think he'll be doing this at COLLEGE in just a few short weeks... (Fall Ball)

and speaking of "love"

Minnie came downstairs in the AM with this shirt... I said "isn't that a jammie shirt?" she said "yes, but Peter tells me I can't run very fast so I'm going to wear this shirt and READ IT TO HIM!"

The shirt reads I play like a girl that's why I'm faster stronger and better... and it used to be the girl next to her's.....oh I hope and pray she has that fire... :)

So it didn't get much better....until... IT DID! (Kendra's Wedding)

Minnie was up Thursday night and well... that's enough of that talk... home from school for her on Friday and on Saturday we three gals just laid low until.... it was...

WEDDING TIME!

Kendra and Daniel were married on Saturday, even though I busted and busted her for planning a wedding during track season, and MAKING me go DATELESS...it was BEAUTIFUL.

One thing that overwhelmed me was all the service men there. The older I get, maybe the trip to NYC seeing the Statue of Liberty, maybe just the state of our country in general.... I am so much more appreciative of the sacrifice these men and women make to keep us FREE.

My sweet friend and beautiful mother of the bride... she has been mother of the GROOM three times before but this was her first stint on the "other side of the church" ;) she did it with such grace and beauty....

Happy Guy!

and you can see WHY! :)

You know you are a runner when.... (tan lines ;)

My sweet girls were so interested in it all and makes me wonder what is going through her pretty little three year old head (other than, "WHEN'S THE DANCING!?!?" which she asked me no less than 4 times during the service)

The girls and I drove over to the reception...

and here is a picture of my pretty dates ;)

The reception was all about chatting it up, eating food, playing games and just having FUN... TRUE Johnson style...

While we were on the swing.... DADDY CAME!!!! HAPPY GIRLS ALL AROUND!!!!

"Cake Table"

I love this lady... she is quiet, humble, sweet and all things I WISH to be...

My Camo-Guy STRAIGHT from the track meet... *swoon*

The moment she had been waiting HOURS for...DANCING! Except... she wasn't sure about doing it alone....

so... she went and asked Jeb... her bud and Kendra's brother.... she walked outside the tent and said "will you dance with me" he said "SURE!" grabbed her hands and off they went... I tell yah... any 16/17 year old boy that makes the ENTIRE DAY of a 3 year old little girl...

I SO wish these pictures were not blurry... there is 1) obviously something 'wrong' with the photographer but I think 2) there is actually something wrong with my camera :( boo hiss...

Happy HAPPY Happy!!!

a FUN night for sure, made all the better by the fact that HUSBAND was able to make it...

ALL the best Daniel and Kendra...
