A grandmother of a girl who is now at the middle school stopped by and gifted our office some of her gorgeous dahlias.... 

To say Miss B and I are obsessed is an understatement :)

 

The Weekend Report

It's been a little bit...

and unfortunately this year it didn't work for ALL of us to go to Husband's fair but these two went with L&L and Sky (all pics courtesy of Sky!!! Thank you babe!) and they had a great time!

The REASON they drive 1.5 hours to the fair....

Minnie went to a college soccer game so she needed to be brought to meet the bus and then I headed back home to wait for... drumroll please..... OUT WITH THE WHITE MINI-FRIDGE...

AND A MONTH LATER we are back in business!!! HOORAY!

Almost as soon as the fridge was installed, the fair crew was coming into the house and I was walking out to go back and meet the bus with Minnie. The XC team was doing a fundraiser and she told Abbey she'd do a lap (or 8) with her....

Bonus was this crew showed up....

You didn't have to twist my arm to sit on the warm turf in the sunshine and play with Philip and have a visit with his Momma! :) 

On Sunday after church we brought Minnie to hang with Abbey for the afternoon and saw all kinds of friends as we left their neighborhood!

Miss B came with Husband and I and I think other than Shaws we hit every grocery store known to man ending at the ONLY one she wanted to go to because Sky told her about the NEW donut section at MB! It was slim pickin's for late on a Sunday afternoon but we came home with a couple of honey buns for the win! :)

and then these two cuties showed up... 

Finished up the day with meal prep and planning for the week ahead... Husband said it felt like there WAS no weekend but that'll happen when you don't spend any of it at home...

Friday Randoms

My co-worker that gifted me my dahlia tubers.... this was her bouquet of the week that she brought for our office...

They just make me sooooo HAPPY!

Speaking of happy...."team bonding", whipped cream to the face and her FAVORITE middle school soccer coach coming to her Varsity practice.... all things that made her happy :)

Barks always makes Bode...happy :)

Home game at a REASONABLE time this week was AWESOME! The away 4:00 games are SOOOO tricky! 

Last year against this team we held our own but came out with a loss... this year in DOUBLE OVERTIME IT ENDED WITH A TIE and that's a WIN in our mind!

Minnie got a yellow card for "apparently" an elbow throw but none of US saw it so that ramped the fans up....she was pulled from the game for a play (thems the rules) and came out guns blazing and scored the only goal and the bleachers WENT CRAZY!!! 

Girlfriend was BUSY and played so great! I loved the fog and the *almost* smile! :)

YAY!!!!
