The Weekend Report

 Kicked off Friday afternoon in the big city for Minnie's game against a private school who recruits... no idea WHY we STILL play them...*insert eye roll*

My girl showed UP definitely MORE than I have seen so far this season so that was fun! 

IYKYK...This is HARD WORK...pretty proud of this...

Took Minnie to her reffing gig on Saturday and that was the EXTENT of me leaving the house and I LOVED that for me! :)

Miss B came with me when I went back to get her... always more fun with my girls!

Speaking of girls :) When you decide to go to church in "San-fid" you get DONUTS first...

Husband and I had decided earlier in the week to go to Mercy on Sunday and it was a GOD thing for ME for SURE. I was EXACTLY where I was supposed to be on Sunday morning. I texted the Pastor (and his wife) who preached and let them know how much it meant to me and the connections they BOTH made with my gals... Perfect timing. 

Spent the rest of Sunday, meal planning/prepping, grocery shopping and going for a walk with the gals and Barks... a PERFECT Sunday...

Hard Doesn't Mean BAD

Fall season is HARD. Don't read BAD or that I don't LOVE it because I do. But it is HARD. There are a LOT of balls in the air (pun totally intended). Husband is my sounding board, time manager, plan listener, BBQ griller when he's home, gasoline filler, BUT he has his own season, his own Varsity team, his own practice and his own thing to do that supports our family. 

The rest is up to me.

Made it just in time to pick up 3 kiddos from practice...

drop one at her house and take one home with me...

After screaming, fit pitching, and otherwise chaos of tiny people all day, driving from Shaps to MMS, to drop off said friend at her house, to home do drop off Miss B and her friend, and back to MHS to pick up big girls, and start dinner... I was FINALLY in my happy place... HOME.

With him. 

I wouldn't trade these days for ANYTHING but they are HARD with ALL the fun, work, house, sports, school, jobs, appointments....

so nice to have a little pick me up for this "words of affirmation" CountryMouse...

and I document to remember... because these days are FLEETING...

Miss B's First 8th Grade Soccer Game

 Monday was Miss B's FIRST 8th grade soccer game....

This was yesterday right? 

The drive was long but the weather was BEAUTIFUL....

It was a tough loss, emotions were high in the car, and there are a LOT of girls the coach tries to get in..... but happy to have the season STARTED and to enjoy sitting outside on a GORGEOUS September afternoon. 

Plus... I just LOVE watching my gals!
