BOWLING

So this happened....

Miss B has been BEGGING to go bowling since way back HERE when her sister got to go at a birthday party....she asked almost EVERYONE to take her and finally on Saturday, during a BLIZZARD we surprised her.... Minnie had a play date with some friends from school so it was a perfect opportunity

oh yeah, and then THIS happened :)

 

she had an ABSOLUTE ball (pun totally intended) they were playing all her favorite songs (Disney movie songs) and it was even GLOW bowling for the first 1/2 hour or so that we were there... she sang, she danced and she bowled :)

 

 SUPER fun 1 on 1 time with this girl!

This girl...

we got ready to leave for school last week so that I could do the "backpacks" and when I got into the basement there was Miss B with the helmet on... I said "you know we are going into the school right?" she said... "yeah. I want to wear this. Can you buckle it for me??" um... Ok. Sure.

Love HER. She wore it the whole time, could have cared LESS that people were asking her about it or giggling... I hope she NEVER loses her confidence, creativity and out going personality.

it helps to have friends who love to be just as silly as she does :)

Today I need to go down to the school to register someone for Kindergarten... to say I don't WANT to would be an understatement. She is ready... so ready and SO excited but my Mama heart is... just.not.there.yet.

 

I wonder... who will miss the "donut dates" more?

 

I will for sure miss our little chats, adventures, 1x1 time....

silly times....

and sweet moments all.day.long.

She is ready for the next adventure and for life to keep moving forward....

but I think this *MIGHT* be the one who has the hardest time.....

wonder if they'll let her bring HIM....

we had the opportunity to meet up with Laura Jane to go to a Unified basketball game... regular ed kids helping special ed kids and NOTHING will warm your heart more. It is so much fun!!
