On Thursday I got home from work a little later than normal and when I put my things down I heard Miss B start FLIPPING OUT! :) "A butterfly... we have a BUTTERFLY!!!" Sure enough wet and drippy there was our first monarch! Exactly 10 days from when it went into it's chrysalis it came out!
She was SO SO SO excited to carry the container down to Heather's to release it on a cone flower. She was SO gentle and patient...
Fins, feather, fur and wings... she loves them ALL....
She has SUCH a tender heart towards animals and wildlife in general... she got a little teary when we walked the empty container back home but she's excited to see the next one pop out! :)
