Bonus Time

Track has started.... Minnie has been going to practice with Husband... hers starts next week....so I got me some bonus time with this one....when I picked her up from daycare on Monday I told her I had a hankering for a chocolate chip cookie... she was ALL about it!

Meanwhile... out my kitchen window... ACK! 

I told Miss B to go to the bathroom window so she could see and at that point she walked over next to me at the kitchen sink and I realized....girl is taller than I thought.... booo hoo hoo

and the Robins... CountryRents said they have been at their house for 3 weeks but they just showed up over here at the Mouse house and they are EVERYWHERE!

Good thing we had this to console ourselves....:)

The Weekend Report (Sky's Game)

It's a doozie so you should probably grab some coffee.... I joke all the time that my gals have no idea that there are place that you just pack a wheelie suitcase and show up. Their vacation experiences typically involve packing a week's worth of groceries, a dog, and a camping grill. So for the MouseHouse to stay in a hotel... HUGE! :) 

We decided about a month ago to get away for the night, go down to see Sky play and enjoy a mini-getaway before all chaos ensues with spring sports. Minnie is going to be doing Middle School track & field and Husband's season starts today... 

I got him a room with a view :) too bad the Fisher Cats were not playing this weekend... we would have had GREAT seats! :) 

We ordered dinner from an Italian hole in the wall but Miss B was PSYCHED with her spaghetti and meatballs....

 

After dinner we headed down to the pool....we had the place to ourselves... just how I like it...

Husband went after her and she jumped in... :)

I think Husband appreciated the baseball view but he was REALLY psyched about the Market Basket across the parking lot....

Donuts for breakfast... these gals loving life!

We got ready, checked out and headed to the SNHU campus to snag gear from the bookstore...even though I think Minnie should have just kept this sweatshirt on... hee hee

It was new student accepted day on campus and the kids running the tours asked if we were all set and knew where we were going... looking at Minnie.... um.... let's slow down there... SHE'S IN 6TH GRADE!!! YIKES!

ALWAYS fun to see this guy!! He has a special press pass to be able to go down and take pics of the game and they came out AMAZING as always....

Everyone teased about me bringing "the Patagonia" but I was SO happy and warm! :) 

The game was amazing... back and forth... at one point we were down by 4...

Another added bonus... THE TWINS!!!! And my gals in their new gear....

This girl doesn't hang on the sidelines much... as evidenced by her 6 goals and 1 assist to pull out the WIN but her calves were cramping in the last seconds of the game...love her standing with her coach....

It was SO SO FUN to go down for her game! We had a blast! The fact that they won... ICING on the cake!

On Sunday after church we spontaneously decided to zip up to the sugar shack where MIL works to have a visit and grab a tasty treat!

Bonus... this girl was home!

and we tried to finish off the weekend with a fire but the slush/hail/rain falling from the sky kept the gals and I INSIDE.... SUCH A GREAT FULL AND FUN weekend!

 

32 Days...

And she's off to a farm about an hour away with two fur-siblings and a cat... 

I'm so proud of these girls... they love with all they have, they were SO HELPFUL this go-round and they make a difference...

What they do is SO hard and people ask them all the time "how do you do it?"...I'm so so proud of their giving hearts and sweet and loving souls towards these rescued pups

We are happy for her forever home but we'll ALL miss the snuggles...

The Weekend Report

 

Nothing like kickin' off a Friday night.... Miss B went to a friend's house for a sleepover so we snagged Charley at our house for a sleepover....and speaking of sleepovers...

look who came back... she's exhausted here because two pups are NON-STOP....

For the most part they are besties and love playing and tussling but it can get a little bit much and sometimes Bea has had enough.....

So this is what it looked like when Husband and I got dressed and ready to take the dogs on a walk...

and this is what it looked like when we came home... oh.my.word.

A little before lunch we packed it up, went to pick up Miss B and returned Charley so we could get home to snuggle on the couch.....

and watch Sky!!! Husband thinks we need a new router as ours is old so there was a lot of spinning wheels of death but we managed to watch what we could and got to see our girl so it made us happy!

and this is what it looks when the night is ending...

and the cat needs to get into her space that she's not been able to access.....dogs in laps, dogs on leashes...I'm ready for all the dogs to have their own homes....

On Sunday when we got out of church we threw down some lunch and headed out on a trail system that is super close to our house but we had never explored before...I don't know that it was QUITE tank top weather but these gals are READY for it when it shows up...

It was fun to explore something new and get moving with the anticipation of warmer weather...

and a tired puppy.... 

is typically a well behaved puppy :) and YES... we still have her... we heard last Tuesday that they were just waiting on a phone interview but we've heard nothing since... we feel so bad for our girl... she thinks this is her forever home and I hate that for her... having a PUPPY for more than a month that isn't going to eventually be yours.... *rough*
