I had VERY good intentions of doing a "day in the life" on my PERSONAL DAY (I only get one per school year and there have been a couple of years I didn't even TAKE it...) but you will see.... I didn't quite make the WHOLE day...
Gals I DID get to sleep in about 30 extra min. so that was nice!!
and reading through again this year...
Then the REAL reason for the day... gardening and being able to taxi my kids! Miss B and I were outside with our plants and seeds and READY to go by 7:30...
BEFORE pics....
Partner in crime... he was just SOOOO happy to follow us around the yard and lay in the shade. As long as he could see us... he was HAPPY!
We are trying our hand at sunflowers again... I have tried to grow them several times in several places over the past 20+ years with no luck... we shall see if we have success in the old asparagus bed...

at 10:00 I ran over to scoop Minnie up from school...it was an early release day AND she had a track meet so instead of just hanging out all day I busted her from P.E. and lunch and we went to Aroma's! :)

There was a LITTLE situation with the hydrangea... I thought it was a dead piece but apparently it wasn't... so we'll see if I can save it...
Sunflowers, zinnias and new this year... DAHLIAS from a new co-worker! Miss B googled them all to see what they should look like and then she labeled them all with some cute little tags I ordered from Amazon!
She picked Mexican sunflowers, Teddybear sunflowers, dwarfs and then in the very front we did the shortest zinnia variety we had purchased. If they all come up.... should be SO FUN!

AND everyone was laughing about the fact that I need flowers at my chicken coop but I blame CountryMum... the chickens need a pop of color TOO! :)

By 1:00 Miss B and I were showered and dressed and BACK out the door to the high school to drop off Minnie.
Here's where I started to go haywire...Miss B and I scooped up MIL after we dropped Minnie and we headed to Traders.... from there we went to Cheverus... because I had taken a PERSONAL day I was #1 with PRIME PARKING and #2 early for the meet... I HATE missing things like "tip off" and events... I was soooo HAPPY to be there for ALL of it!

The view of the track IS beautiful....
but it is absolutely HORRIBLE to get anywhere to see field events... it is completely in a basin and walking the hill was NOT an option for the grandparents.... they were SUCH good "sports" (pun totally intended) and it meant a lot for Minnie to have a fan club!

She PR'd in disc and shot... hooray!
I loved catching she and C-Line work together between throws... it looks like Minnie is saying ey ey Captain... hee hee as well she SHOULD since C-Line had that 113' throw!

So as SOON as she was done triple we BUSTED out...she won jav, came in 4th in disc and 6th in shot but now no further photographic evidence of "day in the life"... whoopsie...
We grabbed food at our fav (Low's) dropped MIL at home, ate and I MEANT to take a pic before I went to bed at 10:30!!! LONG FUN FULL DAY!!! SO MUCH FUN!
