Here was the little Family Nest...

Cozy Saturday AM, kickin' it in jammies and having a late breakfast....

After breakfast we went for the short walk to the semi-private beach... brrrr was chilly but the sun def. kept us warm...

WHAT, is CountryMum looking at....
oooooo JJ and SIL J....expecting their second little muffin into their family sometime...June-ish?

This was the house?? next door... seriously. Huge. That red barn... yeah, wasn't a barn so much as it was a dining hall. We tried to figure out what it was all weekend... gorgeous...

Girls enjoying the sun with Mr. Muffinman... we should have spent more time out here on Saturday. The sun was just amazing...But instead, we trucked down to Five Islands to help participate in Lobsterman Appreciation Day but purchasing 4 lobsters for $4.00 each. YUM YUM YUM. I'd help them out like that ANYTIME!Husband went with an ulterior motive...He was looking for bait to fish off the rocks you saw him above climbing on...guys here didn't have any but suggested he head to the state park and dig his own. What?

Oh, but that's JUST what we did. Even when we showed up and the GATE WAS CLOSED. We treked in a MILE one way and he ws a DIE HARD!JJ helped out...They thought maybe this nasty dead crab would work...and then looked for some muscles...

But alas, were unsuccessful.... awww.... SIL J and I didn't mind the view we had while she fed Muffin though... not bad...We got back it was hang out / Play Time... my Dad can speak "duck". Don't ask. But look who LOVES it! :)After steak, mashed potatoes, bread, salad, and asparagus we all got cozy next to the fireplace and watched The Bucket List...

SURPRISE!!!!!

Here's what you were not supposed to tell... :) We surprised CountryMum with a weekend away at a cottage on the ocean. She loves nothing more than the ocean (except for all of us of course :) so she was shocked when she got the best of both worlds. I love the DUH look on her face. She can't figure out where she is because my Dad told her he was stopping to ask for directions... tee hee hee
She made herself right comfy cozy with the little man who was wearing a homemade shirt that said "Happy B-day Nana" on the front with a big 60 on the back! :)
SIL J, made the most AWESOME lasagna... yum yum it was SOOOOO tasty! JJ is going to enjoy this for lunch for a few weeks yet. It was GOOD!

Beth Moore...

It was a girl's night out... to see Beth Moore last night.... I'm not sure I have processed everything so perhaps there will be another post later on... and we'll stick with the light stuff for this one.. :)

Don't forget who's BIRTHDAY it was....What do you think surprises her so when we got to Mama H's house???

OH yes!!! The VEHICLE was decorated... we wanted to make sure anyone we passed on the road knew we had the birthday girl with us!!! :) (thank you SO much Mama H. for taking care of this surprise. :) "you don't LOOK 60!!!" tee hee hee)

CountryMum is.... beautiful, she is flexible, she is versitile, she is Godly, she is gorgeous, she is strong, she is prayerful, she is happy, she is in love, she is joyful, she is submissive, she loves God, she is creative, she is a good example, she gives timely advice, she is artistic, she is a teacher, she is loving, she is caring, she is giving, she is... all of these things and more. I hope to "grow up" to be just a fraction of what she IS.

Sunday, the Lord's Day

I mean... Soccer. I mean... no it IS the Lord's Day... and we spent much of it at soccer.

But we DID get to see this suprise guest!!! BRAAANNNNDDDOOOOOOO

Sooooo handsome and SOOO excited!! He scored a GOAL!!!! Great GREAT GREAT job Buddy!!! You did SO awesome! :)

from the "Big City" we headed to the small town to catch yet another game....:) really though.. what's BAD about being outside in 66 degree weather in October... sun shining, trees GORGEOUS... yeah. Not a bad day. :) Hey look, PQ was there! :)
Apparantly those freaky elbows come in handy...

Great job boys! You are both naturals! :) Gotta love sports in this fam! :)
