FRIDAY... Errands with MY GUY!

Saturday a car full of pretty girls! We headed to SNHU for Sky's game (post April snowstorm) and in 40 degree drizzle...

Em Daigs thought Shooters was the COOLEST! :) Fun to have redneck friends :)

It was CHILLY....

We scraped the snow from the bleachers, MIL brought us plastic to sit on, we paired it with fleece and settled in...

Always more fun when it's a "W"... 

Sunday was the NCAA Women's Basketball championship. Bridgette and Ally still had no internet so they came over to watch the game...

or at least Bridgette did :) A great weekend that felt like a week off with a bunch of manual labor for Husband :) 

 

April Snowstorm 2024

 The snow started on Wednesday night... along with the winds... we lost power on Thursday and got it back Friday AM... so much damage EVERYWHERE... I think my lilac is a loss.... but waiting for the snow to melt to really assess....

The ONLY one happy for TWO SNOW DAYS in April 😡

Battery packs next to the bed to charge phones...

COFFEE! :) We ended up with power back by coffee time but Husband had his heart set on perc coffee....yummy!

All four of us snuggled on the couch around my phone watching Gilmore Girls :)

and looking at memories from four years ago.... take away the COVID and give me all the fishing and family time....

School Dayz

MY personal assistant :) Bringing Harp to school with me means she can catch up on those little things I don't dig doing :) hahaha and she LOVES it!

Minnie and Miss B rode the bus up and I put Minnie in charge of working with my LITTLE friend "Polly Pocket" :)

I mean I know Minnie is big but look how LITTLE "Polly" is :)

The Weekend Report

On Friday afternoon Miss B and I were stopped from getting all the way home by this showing...

Wowzers we got close!

I asked her what they were doing and she made a funny voice and said "they are trying to impress the LAY-DEES" she sounded just like her father :) hee hee

Saturday AM we were up and at 'em to have her to the bus for her track meet at 6:40AM! She got the princess treatment as soon as we got there... taping up shin splints and re-doing her hair...

She worked really hard at the 40yd dash!

So proud of her for trying something NEW (Indoor)... staying positive and committed!

Fun to have the CountryRents at a track meet!

She was REALLY hoping for 1st and missed it by 4.5 inches but gained a lot of experience and is excited for OUTDOOR!

The three of us spent the rest of the day together running errands and meandering home where Minnie was holding down the fort with Barks (and Maddie for part of the day)

Sunday AM we were a "little" late to breakfast.... I could not BELIEVE her plate... oh.my.goodness. my carb-aholic :)

They pacified me with a quick photo before everyone wanted to change into SWEATPANTS

AWWWW these girls!

Husband and I ran home to grab Barks and came back to MIL's for lunch with the crew!

Besties :)

Bri and Bre planned an egg hunt for the tiny people

and my girls had the BEST time running around with them!

The best I could do for MIL with this Motley Crew :) Missing poor Josie who was sick... and of course Caleb and Chloe-Belle...
