"Big Guy" is having surgery today....

It really IS about TIME....

Pretty sure his "nurse" will take GREAT care of him over the weekend....

I "tried" to give Liz a quieter night last week. Her Hubs was away for almost 2 weeks and I asked to take the big ones to a bball game of Sky's. It was an earlier night than a normal game and I thought it would work perfect for bleacher picnics and FUN!

What actually ended up happening though is that it was just so much MORE fun to all stay together so that's just what happened... :)

So sweet Liz, instead of getting a night "off" actually got her three PLUS my two, running up and down the halls of the school and Husband and I watched a bball game! :) Whoopsie! So much fun for everyone though I think :)

Ah... the boy. One of Husband's co-workers asked for updated pics of Defense... His favorite past time is running away...

and on Friday he's having surgery! Hip hip!

A FULL Saturday

On Friday I had an email from Liz wondering what I was up to on Saturday AM... and then Husband came home and said he was thinking about taking the girls (AND.THE.DOG. someone SAINT the man) ice fishing... I ran off to play with sweet Liz and took not a single picture... we had an AH-MAY-ZING time doing whatever we wanted whenever we wanted (hello breakable section in Pier One!! :) and this crew took off...

Minnie was VERY successful! :) She used her new heritage trap she got for Christmas from Nana and Grampa that came with a can of pink spray paint. She and Daddy have been working on this trap project for a couple of weeks and on the day of "pinky's" maiden voyage, Minnie caught a 19" brown trout which she promptly brought to Nana to eat ;)

 While I was out with Liz and Husband was busy wrangling fish and little girls (not to mention... THE.DOG!) SIL L asked if we'd be up for a spontaneous trip to the outlets. We had a few things we need to do in that area so we agreed, throwing the fisher girls in the car for nap rides... we stopped for dinner on the way home (Thanks B&B for the gift card) and with "Kids Eat Free" coupons we made out OK :)

 I texted SIL L on the way home and said... "it is not lost to me that our days with the WHOLE crew are numbered..." what a special time spent together just like the "old days"...

except this time it was MY kids complaining about shopping and not eating their dinner and HER kid that is getting ready for college in a few short months...

"Small" Paul

We are HUGE Paul Frank fans in this house (and have been since Minnie was born)

and my girls have shared a pair of socks that actually say "Small Paul" on them :) But on Thursday we actually FINALLY met the REAL small Paul :) Isn't he just the CUTEST?!?!?! 

All of the baby Daddy's were at work, away for business, etc. so we Mama's and kiddos did life together and shared the challenges that can sometimes happen when you try to get through dinner time with little people :)

It was a win/win for everyone... snow play...

He will actually lay still long enough for a snuggle.... but only from CERTAIN members in our family....:)

Cam's FOUR!

On Saturday afternoon we celebrated the big man turning FOUR! He has recently become so in "tune" with drums and pretty much anything musical. Liz and Mick are definitely fostering this interest and so a drumming party it was...

His Christmas ornament this year made a PERFECT cake topper...

I love how happy he is at the people in his life gathered around his table singing one of his favorite songs ;) and soaking it all up...

How has it been four years since this sweet boy came into the world... big, late and BEAUTIFUL. Cameron, you are SUCH a joy and we all just love you so much!

GA's Baby Shower

She came in... she sat down and immediately said "Now somebody bring me some CAKE!" :) I love this girl :)

 

There was no cake but there was an AMAZING assortment of pies and quiche. The Boisse gals know how to throw a party and they know FOOD :)
