Hattie-Girl

Typing this on 12/3/2021..... going to back-date this so it stay chronological on the blog but I think that I had to let my heart heal after so maybe that's why this is so late.... Warning: A GAZILLION pictures of a snuggly dog sleeping and I'm not grouchy about it at ALL....

When we got the bio for Miss Hattie girl we all laughed... she does NOT photograph well and we have NO IDEA what to do with a 21 lb dog... Miss B was of course so excited.... she wouldn't care WHAT popped out of the van... fins, feathers or fur... she loves it ALL!

But out popped our girl....

and she was SMITTEN :)

We honestly all just kinda giggled... we couldn't believe how small she was...

but we fell IN LOVE from the get-go. If you click on this picture to make it bigger you can see Hattie is SMILING!!!!

We DON'T do dogs on furniture... no beds, no couches.... clearly you can see how that worked out when she jumped right up and passed OUT....

And then the gals made her even MORE of a princess with the pillow....

and she LOVED it....

The foster organization asked for some "better" pictures than what they had so they could post them on Petfinder.... we totally called her Costanza after this....

Hahahaha....

She got to meet Sky when we went fishing....

and of course these two fell in love as well...

This was by FAR the best part....and in fact she loved cuddling so much she did snap a little at Miss B when she tried to get up to go to the bathroom... I think she was grouchy that she was woken up AND that her snuggly buddy moved....

I LOVED her.... she was so easy... but I do think she had a little of an attachment problem since the only times we left her she DESTROYED... I MEAN DESTROYED Discus' foam bed that we put in the crate with her... and a ball that we left in the crate when she had to stay home alone... poor thing...

We took her EVERYWHERE because she was so little and portable...

Most nights she would fall asleep with Miss B and then Husband would move her into her crate when he came to bed....

And just 10 short days after we got her she found her forever home.... a 7000 square foot house with a 10,000 square foot fenced in yard on a lake in the state next to us... she has 3 older fur brothers and she is something like the 23rd dog that this couple has adopted... she is spoiled rotten sleeping in a king sized bed and sleeping in late everyday.... we miss her like crazy but we get updates and pictures and we know how happy she is....
