New Dishwasher!!!

Husband and I have been in desperate need of a dishwasher for a while... I should have taken pics of the "before" with the soap dispenser that wouldn't close... the stained inside and the fact that the filter? was constantly JAMMED up and we'd often have to REWASH dishes after the dishwasher.... 

My guy is a ROCK STAR! Carried that thing up from the truck....

while this one did the heavy looking on (and I kept trying to hide in our bedroom on the phone with the CountryRents, hee hee)

I DID "try" to help....but....

thankful this guy showed up to muscle up... and he noticed that water was leaking all over the kitchen floor with ice chunks....that was our first red flag...

I HATE the mess....

We got closer.... water and ice stopped coming out of the white tube....

but then.... there was some trouble attaching it to the counter top.... Husband had to call in his big guns...

He had tried to take out the filter and got bloody knuckles trying to get it out... 2nd red flag... OH FROZEN... Huh....

and the FILTER... I will be calling about the nastiness of the filter and asking for a replacement from GE. Apparently they do test the dishwashers in the factory before they leave but did anyone check the packing slip to see that it was being shipped to the FROZEN TUNDRA of our state!?!?! Can't imagine that's the best thing to have all that ice inside... but....

It's IN, FINISHED AND WORKS AMAZING!!!!

Bball Twins

LOVE me some bball... have I mentioned that once or twice?

I also LOVE this girl... and I love it even more when we show up wearing the EXACT same clothes... Sorel booties, ponte pants, and our shirts are the same from Amazon (Christmas last year) just different colors... we made Miss B take this pic... "little geeks!" hahahaha

Husband took the crew out to Shaker....I have a video from Sky that I wish I could upload... you can hear Miss B saying that it was fighting and it took a TON of line and when it got to the hole... this is what came up... there was a collective "awwwww" hahahaha but catching fish is catching fish!

I don't have much.... BUT.... I wanted to post the long weekend because there was some SUPER fun stuff!!!

More bball pics than probably anyone wants :) but I love it! I hate the masks, I hate that most of these kids have never even HELD a bball and I hate that it was on a Friday night ;) but I LOOOOOVE that the girls are having fun and improving week over week. I also LOVE that they are both wearing pairs of Sky's old bball sneakers... from HIGH SCHOOL... HEE HEE HEE

On Saturday afternoon after Miss B's bball practice we got THE BOYS!!! My gals beg on the REGULAR for the boys to come over and I'm SO SO HAPPY it worked out for them to come hang for a little bit! 

We were left with strict instructions NOT to let one of them play outside....poor Ho-han has a broken wrist and it was JUST casted the Monday before and the weather was FREEZING COLD....so we stayed inside..... but of course that turned into knee/floor/mostly full contact HOCKEY! YIKES!

 

Lots of laughs and everyone was safe....

but I do love their creativity and giggles...

Husband and I have definitely had conversations post this weekend about space that NEEDS to be cleared in the basement.... we gotta get 'em more room that ISN'T right behind my couch... hahahaha

I LOVE this crew so much! Pizza and ice cream brownie sundaes for the WIN!

and one for the CountryRents... cuz they are big fans too :) 

On Sunday we snagged a couple of Sky's after church...

There was LOADS of outside time because we were up to a balmy 25 so sledding and ice skating for the win... I just didn't brave it to snag any pics... hot cocoa, snacks and playing in the den....

and a trip to Traders on Saturday AM to brighten up the space.....a GREAT long weekend soaking up friends, family and our cozy home...

Not Much...

This week was super busy but not much for pictures.... lots of time spent around the kitchen table though so that's fun... planning their derby weekend....and yep... that girl at the table was TOTALLY a part of the meeting because she's IN for the derby! (not Husband's annual in February, but another one they picked up last year... different derby... same weekend... )

They are so excited!

and the very next night we had this crew over.... Husband's golf boys that graduated never got a spaghetti dinner because of you know... the pandemic and all... so one of the guys reached out and asked if during their Christmas break they could come over and hang out... 

Fun catching up with all of them and nice to have my table full.

 

Opening Day 2022 (8 Days Late)

 

New Year's Day we did NOT have enough ice for anyone to walk on never mind FISH off of...unless you were in a canoe.... so Saturday bright and early Husband, Guinny, Mini-Guinny and the gals headed to the special spot... Miss B decided she was all done around 10:30 so I went to pick her up...our state is SO BEAUTIFUL!

  

Right when we were about to leave though.... Guinny yelled FLAG and Miss B went RUNNING! 

SO PROUD! :) 

And this guy... I tell you what... he LOVES it... loves the gals with him, loves the cold, loves catching fish, loves the outdoors, LOVES IT ALL!

Snow Day Shinanigans

Friday we had a snow day!!! After lunch Husband and I drove over to pick up the Penney Crew and met up with the Tremblay gals on the globe....

Little Mister was NONE to impressed with getting snow down the back of his snowmobile suit 1/2 way down his first run....

There's a baby in every family... :) 

This crew had so much fun! They would have stayed out if the babies were not crying and cold! :) 

We came home and Bode and I snuggled... 

while this crew got to work on the pond... they shared one pair of skates between three of them but they had fun!
