C-Line is a year ahead due to homeschooling so she is starting VARSITY track with Husband. Loved this sweet post from Jessie :)

We had step-up night at MHS on Thursday night and we saw one of Sky's friends/past teammates that now coaches LAX... she's also Miss B's ELA teacher... she asked to recreate this pic.... oh my word my babies...2019 vs. 2024

 

Sunday FUN DAY!

Husband left bright and early to help Brando with his generator... no pics of that... ;) and we met at church. After we made the annual trip up to see MIL at the sugar shack!

Tamarah and O were alone for the weekend with Joe and Lil in FL for softball so we wanted to do SOMETHING fun with the gals we had... BOWLING is always a fun go-to.... except when it's CLOSED! BUMMER! But we dropped back and punted :) I had her meet me at the end of our road (way too nasty to make people drive down) and we got to HANG OUT!!! OH MY WORD did it fill my cup to have 2 outta 3 of my W GALS!

Tamarah, you are right... I SHOULD have taken the Patagonia off! :) Hahahaha

The friendship with this girl over the past 14 years is one of my greatest treasures. I can't IMAGINE not connecting with her on a DAILY basis from parenting, marriage, work, sports, school, family, nails, shopping, and our current favorite, MMM :) Tamarah... I love yah and this life we do TOGETHER!

The Weekend Report (Friday/Saturday)

We kicked off the weekend here... again... we had the 4:00 meet which, even though we end up getting there late due to work schedules, I MUCH prefer to the 7:00! Friday I had a HORRIBLE blood sugar day... running high ALL DAY LONG so after ripping off my site in the car and changing on the way to the big city....I was ready to just relax and cheer on my girl!

and the little Penney girl ;) 

She did a great job... had some coaching challenges during the week but she advocated for herself and I was SO proud of her!

It paid off! A PR and 2nd place!!!

Meanwhile... Minnie headed to SNHU with the fam to watch poor sick Sky :( They pulled off a win but she texted me that night and said "it was a rough one, I'm sick as a dog" poor girl!

They were headed home and Miss B and I finally snuggled on the couch around 8:15 eating her favorite thing from a Mexican restaurant... and let's be honest... the ONLY thing she wanted at a Mexican restaurant :) CHURROS! :) HAHAHA

The next AM SIL L sending me a proof of life... Curry couldn't get close enough to her... I said well... she has always LOOKED like Sky and after sleeping in her bed last night now she SMELLS like her too.... he was probably confused :)

Saturday we got HIT with probably the biggest snow/ice we've had all winter... NOT.COOL.

Pretty. But NOT COOL.

The Weekend Report

Friday NIGHT Miss B (and Mayson) had a track meet... that didn't start until 7PM in the big city!!! I texted this picture to Marisa and said I wasn't sure if we were going to make it...

but we did... dropped the gals for the bus and headed up... Husband chatting it up with his track buds

 

This girl did a great job! 

So what if she was the only one doing the event! :) Someone had to win! 

Loved hanging with this girl all night! :) 

We didn't get home until 10:45... I went to sleep around 11:30 and up again at 7 to run this one to basketball.... I LOVE chasing my girls around watching/driving/cheering on their "stuff".

Minnie took Fi with her from bball and we headed to watch our girl!

It was a fight until the end but they pulled it off!

We realized we hadn't seen her since NYE!!!! She hugged Miss B and said "holy tall!" :) I don't know if we've EVER gone that long without hugging her! Miss B hugged her FOUR times!

I texted Sky that night this picture and said, tell me you had a track meet until 11 the night before, have a youth group event tonight, and 4 hours in the car without telling me :) 

She got all rested because her friend Elise was coming over to go to youth group and have a sleepover. Husband here teaching her the "quarter" trick.

They had a great time, we ran her home before church and then after church had our business meeting and home to get ready for the week ahead. I can FEEL spring sports on the horizon!
