My weekend kicked off early on Thursday... I took an hour of my paid time off to surprise Miss B at her meet that was over an hour from my work... and it was 100% worth it! She was soooo stressed about how late their bus was getting to the meet and when she saw me arrive at discus she just melted the poor girl....
The throws were SO FAR from the track that you couldn't hear ANY of the calls, she was beyond stressed and.... it was raining.... so she let the 100m go and focused on her throws....

This crew came to hang in the rain and support their girl... she was SO happy to be done with the meet at this point! :)
It was horribly run and these were the only results we were able to get... nice spelling of her name... *insert eye roll*
Friday I used my one and only personal day and as we did last year... Miss B played hooky... but still had some school work to do... man she's responsible...

and we headed out for Windham and the SMAA Championship meet...the sun was still shining at this point....but what you can't see if my backseat FULL of jackets, rain boots, snacks, BARKLEY....
Because we were headed for Minnie!!! We were REALLY hoping for a repeat of last year...

but this year C-Line has gotten AFTER it... they both had PRs but C-Line's was 2 feet further....
Scared of them....
some teammates came over to check in....

We raced over to shot... she threw back to back to back... and had a PR there as well! HOORAY!
The weather continued to get worse and the meet kept going... we were surprised that they did not cancel discus.... SIL L and I were watching warm-ups and every time I turned around (in my scuba hood) to talk to her she would GASP because a disc flew foul and went crazy....

She tied her PR in disc which earned her a place in the finals....a girl that finished 2nd pitched such a temper tantrum that she was DQ'd and that meant... Minnie finished 6th... earning MORE points for Husband! Hooray!
Thankful to SIL L, Sky, Brando, Breanna, Clay, Coop, Chloe and Nick for coming to support! Track meets in New England are NOT for the faint of heart....they are long, sometimes unorganized, you never know when you'll be hot, cold, wet, humid, or holding soggy sneakers, spike bags, and water bottles :)

I LOVE Tamarah's text popping up on my screenshot... so thankful to my peeps that checked in on my girl and her results!
Because of the weather... they did end up canceling pole vault and triple jump so we were back at it on Saturday.... I texted this picture to Tamarah... I thought after Memorial Day I would be over my Smartwool and Blundstones...guess not...
Track fan!
Sister support squad!
Love their relationship... they respect each other so much!
Sweet C-Line...
It was cold, raw, rainy... UNTIL they were done... still a little cold but the sun felt so good... and it was time to leave! Corinne finished 3rd cementing the 5th out of 17th place for Husband's Varsity Girls.

Headed for STATES!
