Memorial Day Weekend (Part 2)

 

Monday we did a few things at home, ran some errands together as a family and then picked up Chuck and Harper....

Got the gals outside... no idea how to make him realize they are FRIENDS... not FOOD...

While the four gals in teams of two made a MESS of my kitchen I sat here... in my happy place in 70 degree sunshine... 

and then watched the child labor wash my car :) A great way to finish the weekend!!! Only 12ish more days of school and we are READY for the adventures to come!!!

Memorial Day Weekend 2023 (Part 1)

Not enough allergy meds but they are SO SO GORGEOUS!

Like grapes... just HUGE this year!

On Saturday AM Husband and I busted out early and went to snag a few more things from Farmfield's... we were home just a short while before Dad and Uncle Mike showed up... I LOVE a freshly rototilled garden...makes it look pretty and gets me excited for things to come...

Unfortunately no pics snagged at dinner but we headed over to the CountryRents for dinner with MIL and Uncle Mike and Aunt Carol. Fun sharing another meal with the "retirees" ;)

Fun Friday!

Started Thursday taking this girl to watch her friends play LAX and then ending watching softball for this guys biggest sister!

When I tell you I have the BEST PRINCIPAL... I MEAN I HAVE THE BEST PRINCIPAL! See her there on the roof?? Oh yah... egg drop day... chucking things off the roof!

That's A Wrap

Middle School Track is OVER!

Finished OK in shot and jav... won both but not a PR for her in either...23'9" and 93'10" respectively... 4th in the 100m....

I wish I would have snapped the picture MOMENTS earlier when I told Diya that I needed to snag their track pic and she immediately put her arms up for him to pick her up... I love their relationship ;)

The wind was CRAZY coming straight at her and she still pulled off almost 94'!

I think the MOST fun was watching their 4x100m break a minute AGAIN!! AND beat every team out there... including the 8th grade team! So fun! 

She loved finding her friend's sweatshirt left on the field and then putting it on to text her Mom letting her know that we had it... Funny! She performed SO well... lead and taught her teammates and now she just needs to stay in shape the next 4 weeks until SUMMER TRACK STARTS!

Sweet girl... she is on the struggle bus in 5th grade and I hope that we are just meeting her right where she is at with all her "things"... love this girl!!!

Friday afternoon visitors at school that look like THIS... YES PLEASE!!!

Makes me miss this guy... 

Saturday night shenanigans... we had the Allaire family over for dinner and it was POURING rain so the gals got creative and they made their OWN Twister board...

All fun and GAMES until you are face to face with your sister :)

I love when field trips come TO my school... even if they did bring a BIRD! ;)
