What a difference...

about 3 1/2 hours makes....

 

Poor girls... no one has EVER stood a chance of staying awake at naptime in the back of Husband's truck... no matter which truck it was... or which niece/nephew :)

Happy 4th of July

We have so much to celebrate on this holiday and yet we are so removed from what actually went down in history... time does that doesn't it?

I'm thankful for my freedom and I'm thankful for reminders that MAKE me thankful...when time can sometime make things seem so removed...

Husband got the email below from a girl he didn't even have in class last year... just one that he reached out to and said hello to every morning... one that he paid attention to (and gals, isn't that just everything in 7th grade?) and a girl that he has had a profound impact on just by being HIMSELF...

I hope you are enjoying your first two days of summer. The reason that I am e mailing you is because I wanted to share with you that L and I participated again in Relay for life again and we had another luminary lit for you in honor of your fight with colon cancer. Here is a picture of the luminary! I hope I will see you at S P Ice Cream this summer. :)

Beachin' it

Last Friday was the day Daddy was coming home... I knew for our sanity, the gals and I needed to be distracted to pass the time...so we headed off to the beach with friends and it was gorgeous!

My girls just LOVE "Rayyyy-chewl" She has such a sweet spirit with little ones and they are all just drawn to her... I am so thankful for her willingness to play with and love on my gals...

Burying Fletch's feet in the sand was an all morning pastime :)

when Minnie wasn't swinging with her long lost friend Aesa!!! Minnie was SO happy to see her. I don't think they have played together in more than a year but they just picked right up where they left off... so cute!

A great day enjoying the sand, sun and surf!!

Baby Love

While Husband was away on his annual after school gets out fishing trip ;) we had GIRL TIME GIRL TIME! And were so blessed to spend time with even MORE girls ;) We were all able to meet our new friend Peyton!!! She is L&C's new LITTLE blessing and I do mean LITTLE! :)
