THANKFUL: I guess it HAD to happen...Happy Birthday Minnie

Sweet, Sassy, Spunky Girl... I just don't know WHY we had to get from here...

to HERE... so QUICKLY...
The past year has EASILY been the BEST YEAR OF OUR LIVES. You have added SO much...
making us a TRUE and complete family.
Your contagious smile and sassy nature is always keeping us on our toes...
and we wouldn't have it ANY.OTHER.WAY.
You instantly love just about anyone you come in contact with and it has been SO neat to see you make connects with your family and friends. Really starting to build relationships with those that are close to you.
I know that EVERY parent says it but I just don't understand WHY it has to go SO fast. Why the days seem so long and the year went by
in LESS than a blink of an eye...

You are SUCH a big girl now, walking everywhere you go, eating big girl food and drinking whole milk. Chatting up a STORM in complete sentence THAT ONLY YOU can understand :)
You are doing great sleeping through the night though the past couple nights we are pretty sure a couple more teeth are causing a bit of a ruckus for you. Giving you a fever, butt rash and all over uncomfortableness.
You've been pretty clingy to Mom lately but I can't say that I mind. You are not the snuggly-est kid around (gee, wonder where you get it from :) so I'll take the extra sitting in my lap. That's FOR SURE :)
Today, right now in fact, we are celebrating your first birthday with your family and a friend. (Dani, of course :)You will have your VERY OWN cake and frosting and there will be many pics to follow I'm sure.
You LOVE playdates with friends, you are wearing size 3 dipes, size 12-2T clothes and a size 3/4 shoe. You are all done with the formula now but we are still doing a bottle and some baby food. You are a HUGE fan of cheese, toast, and pretty much anything with a red sauce on it. Bri Bri is pretty sure you are saying her name but we'll have to snag that on video to REALLY see :)
WE LOVE you so much Minnie and can't imagine how fast the rest of our short time with you in our home is going to go by. After only one year, college doesn't seem so far away. Slow it down would yah? :)
