Bets has had the colonoscopy and her colon is MOSTLY blocked but not 100% so they are allowing her to go home today attend her oldest daughter's graduation from high school and return on Saturday for her surgery.
Pathology results are of course not back yet but it was a "nasty" looking tumor and they are going on the assumption that it is in fact cancer.
Prayer requests at this point are that it is CONTAINED to this one section. That NO lymph nodes are involved that her liver is completely clear and that it hasn't "traveled" anywhere else. Dr. R will make sure of that while she's in there.
That surgery goes well, quickly and Bets feels well coming out and recovering.
And so it goes...
