Miss B's 1st Birthday Party ~ I'm sorry in advance

I REALLY tried to trim the pictures down... so instead of 100 you got 45 ;) ish.

 

When Minnie and I got home from Jenn Walk-ah's shower on Saturday she went right down for a nap and I got right busy. Typically I work on birthday cakes after the gals are in bed for the night so it was nice to get this one all figured out and done during nap time :)

We went with The Rainbow Fish theme based on a book and an inspirational ice cube tray we found at IKEA (way back on January 26th!) Special shout outs of THANK YOUS to Mama for the "cut-out" cake idea, Sky for helping me paint, cut out and organize, and of course to sweet "Yiz" because really... I'd do NONE of this without her EXPERTISE, tools, generosity, and willingness to teach and answer my panic-y phone calls! :)

 

 

Special shout out of THANK YOU to BIL and SIL "L" for saying YES when I asked if we could host the party next to their pool AND make it a combo with Chlo-Belle!

ah the timeline... crazy how much they change/grow and teach us in 12 short months

Let there be... CHOCOLATE CAKE! Miss B's first taste of the dark goodness and she was a fan!

I have no less than 70 pictures of her putting just the one finger in the frosting and bringing it to her lips...

Until I broke the cupcake and let her have AT! I can't get enough of that little scrunched up nose :)
