There is a girl's blog that I like to read and her subtitle is "even if I stumble, I'm still moving forward"... makes sense right? Sort of what it feels like right now... that I'm constantly tripping over "things" but I'm trying to stay focused on the Lord and just keep moving forward.
Husband's surgery went well. The Doc actually came out and said "might be best skin graft ever!" those are not things I typically hear from the docs after spending time with Husband :) Happy news. He spent the next 4 days on the couch just like he was supposed to and it was all spent on OUR couch except Sunday afternoon. We were all getting a little bit of cabin fever so we went to L&L's for their couch and so that he could hang with BIL and watch football.
Not watching football was of course the swimmer gals :) and really... why be in this pool....
when you can easily all cram into this one? :)
good thing Miss B has those floaties on... 
Today was the BIG REVEAL of taking the bandage off and neither of us really had any idea what it would look like... here's the part where you can close out of the blog if you want to and I'll have another post tomorrow on things like "why it might not be the best idea to do a bathroom renovation while your Husband has surgery and is on bed rest"....
The Dr. came in and was THRILLED. She thinks that 100% of the graft "took" and that it looks awesome!
The donor site further up his leg. He had some burning the first few days but he said not too bad as of late. We go back on Friday for another dressing change and then Tuesday he MAY be able to get his staples out....
Who knew???
