The Annual Hunt for the Christmas Tree

Click HERE and it will get you a few posts from the past....this year... like last year was a bit "different". But... better because we had our crew back with us :) Our fav. tree farm is in the process of closing and Husband had heard through the grapevine that the trees were not great... so we went with Plan B and got a tree from the local country store in our town. I like buying local and I LOVE the trees this store has so it felt like a win/win. Our tree is DEF not as big as we have had in the past but it is full and we were DONE in no time. We spent about $5 more but saved ourselves about 1.5 or 2 hours of time and most def. a whole bunch of energy... worth it? I dunno. :)

Easy enough to pick a tree in the budget, take it out of the holder and throw it in the back of the truck...

Well... easy enough for ME since I didn't have to do any of the heavy lifting :)

we were still able to get hot cider which really IS the best part for the kiddos...

and because we had Daws this year we didn't need to call in the heavy troops (Tricky)

course the fact that it was about 3.5-4 FEET smaller than our normal trees also made it a TAD easier :)

Husband has now left with the babies to go set up outdoor lights at Tricky's and I am cozied up with the Hallmark channel and THIS view. I am a HAPPY girl :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
