On Friday Husband had a dentist appointment literally across the street from Auntie and "Bob's" house. So I called to see if they were up for visitors AND told Auntie I'd pack a "project" :) I'm so sweet :) I think it was fairly painless and the three gals all looked to have a GREAT time :)
(all photos of them courtesy of "Bob")
I asked Miss B what she did at "Bob's" and she reported "watched Paw Patrol and ate a popsicle" (her most fav. thing EVER when the pool isn't open ;)
When my crew got home we talked about doing something FUN FUN FUN to keep the girls busy (aka no nap), finish off the week with a bang and tire them out since we had "Nana" coming to watch them at night....
I called around to a few hotels and then asked a friend on FB if anyone did daily passes for their hotel pools....we found one... they used their Valentine's $$ from MiMi and they had the BEST time!
Miss B made a new friend who told her "I love your bathing suit, earrings, and braids. You're pretty." :)
My girls just love to swim...
and I do love to watch them...
Daws played his final game on Friday night at 9PM. Thank GOODNESS for "Nana" coming to stay with the sleeping babes so Husband, CountryDad and I could join the rest of the crew and cheer on our favorite guy!

The game didn't go as we'd hoped (however, it WAS A GREAT GAME)... Nana had the joy?? of being woken up and why wouldn't you want to wake up with little girls who start their day in dress up dresses and jammies... and can we please focus on Miss B's eyes for a minute. Yes. I mean... have mercy... this girl. I tell yah.
On Sunday we "surprised" our Pastor's wife with a luncheon in honor of "Pastor's Wife Appreciation Month" (I didn't know it existed either but how fun!!)
The sweet hospitality girls planned a lunch with all things that were allergy appropriate... gluten free, mostly dairy free, sugar free, etc. etc.
and we had TEA...
This group of girls KNOW how to get.it.done. We are so blessed to have them on that team!
sweet tea drinkers :)
and... the blubbering idiot. I was asked to read Proverbs 31 and should have just stuck with that... but I talked a bit before about my personal connect with Selena... and... like I do... stinkin' cried.

special thanks to Liz? or Momma S? for snagging these pictures... |
"I was honored to be asked to read this passage of Scripture in honor of this girl. I have had the privilege of praying twice a month for our children, for almost 5 years and you can really get to know a woman's heart when you meet with the Lord about your children together.
My own children have had the blessing of Selena's teaching for the entire lives most Sundays. :) In fact, Myah Cate, other than a few substitutes or sickness has spent all of the Sundays in her ENTIRE life ;) with... as she fondly refers to her... "Lambertson"
The qualities here in Proverbs 31 can definitely be used to describe this sweet girl...."
We finished out our vacation week celebrating this special guy and sweet MIL for their birthdays... sugar, sugar and more sugar mixed with family...
not a bad way to end a vacation.
