Super Bowl Party Valentine Making

Poor Miss B... when we shopped on Saturday we found NO... NONE... ZIP... ZERO... ZILCH... Valentine cards.... so being her sweet self she said... that's OK Mom I can just make them... we found some stackable crayons and she got to work with TiTi and MiMi! :) 

and pretty much how she spent the Super Bowl :) Love her...

Minnie had a project to do for Social Studies... 

The Great Pyramid made out of rice krispie treats....

and my bball buddy... pic for Sky... while I COULD have been wearing the exact same thing (I have those pants and that jacket) we were only a LITTLE matching with denim tops, black t-shirts and of course our beloved boots :)

They both wore these to school but I guess when you are different schools it isn't matchy matchy anymore... until you get home and Mom wants a pic!

 

Husband's Fishing Trip aka Girl's Weekend!

 

Husband left on Thursday and Friday we were back in the gym for Miss B and we snagged some take-out on our way home :) 

Saturday was GORGEOUS! We hit 60 degrees on the highway! This girl crew was SO HAPPY about it! We ran a few errands looking for some fun things and for the most part STRUCK OUT....

and the sillies! 

Grabbed these beautiful flowers from Traders to spruce up the kitchen and told Husband he bought them for me for Valentine's Day :) 

But what he was REALLY doing.... was catching fish all weekend :)

Sites at School

It's SO fun all being in different and the same schools... I love our schedule for our family right now... fun stuff all over the place at MY particular school right now :) 

We are celebrating Kindness Month for the month of February, it's spirit day so we/kids dressed up as cowboys and cowgirls.... and we also have the 100th day of LEARNING!!! Today was a very fun and festive day! I tell yah my Administrator is the BEST!

I cut out all those colorful letters and our 5th graders colored them

Every year we have a new "kindness pledge" and we sign something and put it on the board

Little sister in the red warming up with the team... good thing cuz I've told her she's making Varsity as a freshman so that I only have to drive to one practice :) 

and speaking of Varsity... Husband left for his annual ice fishing trip last night so SIL L invited the gals and I to the Senior game.... fun to watch these gals that played with Sky and are now Seniors... 

SIL L and I showed up in the same shoes...again.... ;) love it... (insert Sky's eye roll here)

Miss B said she doesn't think she's seen "The Twins" since THIS DAY back in 2020... It was so fun to go and support! We sure love us some bball! 

 

Full of FRIENDS

This weekend was kinda all about this girl... and the big girl too but this one's social calendar was one for the books.... 

On Friday we FINALLY managed to get BOTH Penney gals to sleepover... and no she's not going potty there's just no more room at the sink.....

SO SO HAPPY Mayson stayed... she's had a few months where sleepovers are just not working for her but she's BACK AT IT! HOORAY! I took the gals home and came back to drop Miss B off at a birthday party at 11.....

this girl and I went with Husband to run some errands and I think she secretly like the 1x1 time... I know I DID! :) 

We picked up Miss B around 3... just in time for yet ANOTHER friend to come over... this one had not been to our house yet and her mother WARNED me that she is world's pickiest eater... she even told me just to send her home with no dinner but we took a crack at her :) Husband's famous grilled cheese with chips for the win.....

and it actually went pretty well... I texted this pic to her Momma and she knew immediately that the one with all the crust was her daughter... hee hee

Sunday after church it was bball in the BIG GYM! Girl played awesome and even had a 3 point shot.... she calls it her "Sweet Spot" but probably helps that she shoots on these rims in Daddy's gym every.single.day. :) 

Having Sky there was absolute BONUS! 

and this was my grateful view with my two VERY tired and freshly showered gals... I love that the whole couch is free and then are SORT OF snuggled on one end....

looking all thrilled to pieces about it.... hahahahaha a full weekend for sure but I think their cups are filled!
