The Weekend Report (Picture Overload)

Friday was my birthday and I was spoiled at work. 5th graders sang to me, every 1st grader I think said Happy Birthday... and when I went to pick up Miss B there were lights and sirens!!! Albeit he didn't know it was my birthday! I saw the truck pull into daycare and FREAKED! I was taking a left so I had to wait for a HUGE line of traffic... by the time I got to the house it was sorted out... turns out... one of the dad's actually BOUGHT A FIRE TRUCK!!!

It was retired and being auctioned off and he won!

Miss B thinks this is AWESOME because she's having a sleepover at this kiddo's house on Friday and I said they had to pick her up in it... hahahahaha

Julie was psyched because ALL her daycare kids were locked in the cab!

So much fun for them! And now we can officially say we have friends who own a fire truck? Who can say things like that!?!?

Friday was a rainy yucky day but the PERFECT day to celebrate with pizza and a movie....

Snuggled in with my crew! My FAV!

Saturday... Husband's b-day and he and Minnie were out the door at 5:30AM to meet the 6:00 bus headed for Ban-ger... Because it was another state meet on his b-day and Minnie was going we decided to send her up with "the banner" :)

I had a teacher at school make me the "31" and we updated it when Husband ran out on Friday night to grab dinner... hee hee hee

Minnie LOVED getting the gals on the team to help her and have this fun surprise for Husband! So cute!

And... his jav thrower that was seeded 11th came in 6th!!!! Best b-day present ever! He loves this kid!

Speaking of kids we love... I picked up CountryMum and Mayson on the way to the barn

First time feeding a horse... she was a little nervous but did a great job!

and speaking of a GREAT JOB!!! Miss B is back in the saddle again, picked right up where she left off and has the bugs in her teeth from non-stop smiling to prove it! I LOVE LOVE watching her!

Miss B took me for a 4-wheeler ride when we got home and I stole a few flowers from Heather's on Saturday night and welcomed our crew back around 8:30 which was about an hour earlier than expected so that was awesome!

Sunday we just needed a day...with the chaos of May and the last few days of school for all of us being nutty we decided to get some gardening done in the AM and take off with the Penney crew for the afternoon. Snagged some sandwiches and tried to catch some fish...

but we mostly just caught some rays....

a FANTASTIC birthday weekend full of family, friend, fun and R&R
