Middle school soccer is OVER. Here comes basketball!

GREAT final game....

Not much getting past this defensive line....

and my girl scored 5 out of the 6 goals AND tried to assist her two buddies to see if they could score. It was FUN!

NEXT UP... TURF for this crew....

but not before a couple of other seasons we love...

 

The Weekend Report

I love coming HOME....

Especially when I knew THIS GUY was going to be staying for the night!!! Youth day on Saturday so he and the gals went out with Husband to scope things out and be ready for the morning...

This guy was THRILLED TO PIECES to have him there too :)

Lunch break! Man I love this kid!

The gals and I headed out in the afternoon for Miss B's playoff soccer game. Didn't go the way we wanted with the WEATHER we certainly were not a fan of.... it was POURING...

They got SOAKED!

But she had fun and played AWESOME!!!

So fun being sandwiched here with these gals! :)

I texted Connor Sunday and told him "I made your bed" :) Fingers crossed he's back this Friday too! :)

Finished off Sunday with the hot beverage gals while CountryDad, Minnie and Husband went to appraise a tractor. Phew... all good... very FULL!

Miss B's Toes (GRAPHIC WARNING) Part 2

 If you don't want to stick around for this post I'll try to do bright and happy tomorrow... although this one does END on a bright and happy note... just not very PRETTY.... YIKES.... Part 1 is HERE

On Wednesday after her shower she realized that one of her nails was DEF. lifted at the bottom and more unattached than attached. 

You can tell the whole nail is now white because it is not attached

Sweet girl... so scared and sad but NOT in too much pain which is a win!!!

Daddy with the wrap so that it didn't get stuck in the blankets, post manicure and hair wrap all at the same time....girl had a LOT goin'

She made it through Wednesday night and all day Thursday... practice on Thursday night and then....post shower Husband came upstairs to tell me she was messing with it (FINALLY)...again NO PAIN...

A quick little trim....

and it was OFF!!! HOORAY! FINALLY!!!! 3 MONTHS....

SHE WAS SO HAPPY!!! and NOT IN PAIN FOR THE WIN!!!! ONE DOWN.... ONE TO GO....

Minnie and I were on our way home the other night and had to stop because can you see what's back??? and now there is a light brown one too!!!

 

Minnie took a video vs. a picture but we def. had to stop to let NOT ONE but TWO pigs cross the road...

Love me some baby rednecks... muck boots and all tearing it up on the tote road with her dog...

Speaking of rednecks.... here we go....

and speaking of dog... poor guy has something going on with his paw... we are hoping it is just a little irritation that will heal on its own :(

Connor is coming! Connor is COMING!!! So the den had to get cleaned! HOORAY!

Current favorite (of Minnie and I ;) Husband and Miss B maybe not so much but they eat it....) 

Pesto pizza and homemade marinara sauce... YUM!
