Awwww yeah baby!!!

After all the seriousness the past few days... back to the mindless post :)

Few new household items... pretty psyched about the first one! :)

Can you see what the new homemade (though not by me, I'm not that crafty) says? "We Dream of the Lake" :) Remember this is on the adjoining wall :) Are you catchin' the theme?? :)

Feels like fall...

it was 45 degrees this AM when I got in my car to come to work... time to update the blog with some fall foliage...

9/11/2001... Please take time....

Please take time to remember... to be in prayer for the families who are hurting today, for the people who are still suffering and give thanks for the lives that were spared and the good work the Lord has done through this horrible trial....

God is good. All.The.Time.

1 Peter 1:6-9 (New Living Translation)

6 So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while.

7 These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

8 You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. 9 The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.

NOT a bad day...

I got to spend a little time with this little man at work while his Mama took care of some "business". I went to the "big city" to hang out with THIS gorgeous girl who comes from just an AMAZING family... oh wait... she's my cousin... I'M her family :)
And she GAVE me these new kicks!!! Her company had a whole bunch of samples that happened to be size MOOSE (aka 10) and she doesn't KNOW anyone else who is size MOOSE :) LUCKY ME!!! They ROCK!!! Thanks again Babe! You can give me shoes ANYTIME!!! :) Course I told her these would have come in handy back HERE... :) So when I got home I told Husband that I could wear them on our next hike. :) He laughed and said... start sarcasm "CUZ that will be sometime soon" end sarcasm :)

The weekend report...

The weekend started a little early... we got a call that Nannie had been taken to the ER via ambulance so JJ picked me up at work and we raced to the local hospital. Raced so fast in fact, we beat the ambulance. Whoopsie. :) Once CJ showed up we started making our own fun in the waiting area....

Once it was decided that Nannie was going to stay for observation, Husband and I took off to relieve the girl staying with Grampa. Doesn't he look thrilled with me... ah well... he ALWAYS looks like this with me....

Typically, Friday night dinner is eaten at MIL's...you've seen the pics...well... this week, my family moved it to my parents house so that I could still enjoy the sloppy joe's made by Mama....my family rocks.
Seriously are they not GORGEOUS!?!?

oh wait... ack. What's that?? (you think it's his sister's finger... I think it's really his MAMA'S!!! ACK!!)

oh right, yep... that's more like her...Saturday took us out running errands.... and Husband canNOT drive by this place without stopping in for bismarks and other tasty treats... who am I to complain? :) He used to come here when he was just a little boy and has such fond memories... bring on the goodies! :)I told Sky I had about a MILLION pics of she and I on my camera... I'm trying to get a million and two...Nannie is staying in the hospital until at least tomorrow. Prayers are definitely appreciated...lots of tough decisions to be made by my parents... :(
