AM I the ONLY one...

Who sees Groupons like this and actually DREAMS?

Tuscany Vacation with Airfare from Gate 1 Travel - Pisa, Florence, and Milan

✈ 8-Day Tuscany Vacation w/ Air. from Gate 1 Travel. Price/Person Based on Double Occupancy. (Buy 1 Groupon/Person).

The part where we take our oh... say 16 and 14 year old to the place their Daddy's family ORINGALLY came from.... and experience the WORLD? (don't get me wrong... I LOVE my bubble, but sometimes... I dream of the WORLD...)

Especially when the dangling offer says things like this... and I dream of taking my girl to her namesake...

Days 6–8: Siena and San Gimignano, Milan

For the last few days of your Tuscany vacation, you can stroll amid olive groves in Siena and see medieval churches in San Gimignano. Siena is just a little more than an hour south of Montecatini, so it’s easy to split your time between relaxing in Montecatini’s spas, and checking out Siena’s piazzas. On Day 7, start heading towards Milan to check out one of the world’s most fashionable cities before you head home. The city has been an inspiration to artists for centuries, from Leonardo Da Vinci to Dolce and Gabbana.

  • Piazza del Campo is one of Italy’s most picturesque squares for its 14th-century fountain and Torre del Mangia. If you can climb the Torre’s 500-some steps, you’ll be rewarded with a bird’s-eye view of the setting.

  • Parma is on the way to Milan from Montecatini. Stop here to try authentic parmesan cheese.

  • Tour a castle: Da Vinci had a hand in designing the Castello Sforzesco, which resembles a fortress with its red-brick walls and imposing ramparts. Inside the castle, museums house both Egyptian artifacts and Michelangelo’s final sculpture.

I'm just curious if I'm alone? :)
