Stay at HOME Order

Husband had been planning on fishing Saturday long before the governor issued our "stay at HOME" order... we were disappointed and confused at first but then he read the fine print... fishing is OK and counts as exercise and is good for mental health... we did not see anyone, we did not talk to anyone and he ALONE was the only one to get out and pump gas (using all necessary cautions when he got back in the car) Our crew NEEDED this... open water, fresh air and a change of scenery from the kitchen table/bedroom/console-table desk....

our FAVORITE social distancing...

and to EVERYONE'S surprise... I DO NOT like cold and I like it even LESS with the RA diagnosis but this girl bundled up in my ice fishing best and when the sun beat down... it felt SO GOOD!

Gals brought snacks, lunch, drinks, coloring stuff, books, blankets and I played music on my phone...

This girl is ALWAYS game for fishing...

and this one LOVES to drive!

We had a couple of hits but just one bite...

Happy it was a rainbow!

I really did have mixed feelings about leaving the house to do something "fun" but we were all so REFRESHED after... I know that taking care of our MENTAL health right now is equally important....

Love this man for making it happen!

So many good things come from a little WIND THERAPY plus the vitamin D and a rainbow to boot!
