The Weekend Report (Finishing Spring Break)

 My gals have been cheering on Sky for a LONG time... they LOVE going to any sporting events their cousins are doing and we LOVE taking them....

So for her Sr. game we KNEW we'd take some friends who are starting their LAX journey and make it a road trip!

We had signs and we were READY to cheer for our #1!

Their laughing smiles make ME laugh!

I have a video of this girl's IMPRESSIVE career. It is unbelievable... but what REALLY shocked EVERYONE (except her parents) was that it was announced that she WILL come back for her 5th year (because of COVID they were redshirted) and she has been on the fence. Girl likes to be home... BUT she will get her Masters, get to live with her besties off campus and play another year of the sport she LOVES.

The succession of figuring out that Miss B's sign is upside down... hahahaha I was looking at their pretty smiles... and yes... they are the same age....

and so are they... :) 

They didn't win but it was a GREAT game... minus the officials...

and we are SO SO proud of this girl for her example to our gals on how to work hard and make your dreams come true!! Man we LOVE her!

Slacker: Spring Break

A mid-week grocery run with my best guy ALONE...

Came home from work to find that he had put together my newest AMAZON purchase!!! Our raised bed was from back when Minnie did the 4-H program was rotting and needed to be replaced...the PTC at my school purchased similar for our raised beds here that need to be redone and I LOVE THEM... 

He and Miss B whipped this thing together and I LOVE IT!

Minnie had left earlier in the day to travel FOUR HOURS with SIL L, BIL L and MIL to watch Sky in VT. I love the girl but...no. I watched it from the comfort of my couch.... and do you see the bleachers?

Don't they look cold!? :) hahahaha

But worth it to see that girl in blue right in front of them... their girl! :)

Meanwhile MY girl next to me on the cozy couch....

After the game we packed it up and went to a local restaurant that Miss B and I went to with Tamarah and her girls... it was equally as yummy but I went for the service...there is a waitress here that is just THE BEST!!!

FINALLY starting to see green and SUNSHINE...and if you click on the pic... a girl throwing jav and measuring her distance... first meet this week weather permitting!

Snagged this super fun GIANT pinwheel on a family trip to Rochester. I love it so much I need a red one!

Adulting during va-ca is BORING. But... had to be done...

On Friday...Minnie went to practice with Husband then to a friend's house so Miss B had Ally over for some fun!

and then some EXCITEMENT... Miss B and Husband had to wait all week for the right breed of chicks and after Husband called earlier in the week to ask if the needed to be reserved and Miss B called in the AM confirming they still had them... they were only able to get THREE... so they made do with a couple other varieties and picked up 5 for the Penney crew while they were there...

Ally doesn't like how their feet feel... ;)

We are back to the birds. Bleck. Thinking about moving the "old ladies" to a 55 and older community... aka their own space to live out their final days and putting these babies in the "regular" coop but we'll see what Husband comes up with that is free/cheep. Pun DEF. intended.

The Weekend Report (Headed into Spring Break)

But starting with Thursday... the only pic I got but I'll take it... Husband and Miss B went on a field trip on Thursday... genius teachers to plan a field trip the day before break!!! They had AMAZING 70+ degree weather and look at the color of the sky behind Miss B and Meags!!! This was the THIRD time Husband had been to the Seacoast Science Center. He went with each of the gals when they were in 1st Grade and again in 5th for Miss B! They had a GREAT TIME!!!

Friday while the rest of my crew was starting their Spring Break... I was here....

Because I have "FLEX" days that I am unable to take any of my earned time for I end up with a lot of time at the end of the year... boo hiss... and because the last day of school is on a Thursday I really don't WANT to come back that next week... especially since we are not allowed to work on 6/19... pushes me even later into the summer... thankfully my boss agreed and while it does STINK to put in the time while everyone is OFF... I will LOVE being done in June!!

When I got home we kicked off THEIR va-ca with ICE CREAM of course! The fact that it was 80 degrees out was a BONUS!!!!

Then we took a ride to check on the CountryRents house while they are away... Barks was SO EXCITED to run around like a crazy man....

I texted pics to CountryMum because she will miss these in bloom this year...

We assured them all was well...

And teased with this picture "is this how you left it?" ;)

On Saturday afternoon we headed out as a fam to go check out....

an option for Husband... still chatting and thinking about it... but I am happy that we are moving in a forward direction. We paid off my car with tax money and some savings but it still all feels very overwhelming.... praying peace and wisdom for sure right now!

Came home to catch Sky's game modeling my new Christmas present ;) 

and this guy was POOPED after all the excitement of a home day and being out and about with his fam!
