One more time...

 Husband had to take Miss B for another xray on Wednesday. Dr. said it is looking good??? I mean glad he's the professional and not me...

but....I MEAN.... YIKES!

Dr. wants her back one more time next week to be CERTAIN everything is right where he left it... and then maybe she'll be able to try out a gift Sky bought for her ;)

Finished STRONG

My girl came out GUNS BLAZIN' at her LAST middle school meet! LOVE that for her! SO MUCH fun watching her! Can't beLIEVE she will be earning all these points for her Daddy next year!! Another last... but with the summer season 3 weeks away I know it won't feel "long" :)

Finished 2nd in the 100m

And these three went back and forth and back and forth in the shot... 

but came out on top :) Word on the street is they are back to wearing GREEN next year but we'll see if that ACTUALLY happens....

So proud of BOTH of my gals! BUMMED for Miss B to not finish the season but SO PROUD of her for supporting her team and not missing a MEET! Two more years and she'll be back with big sis! :) NOT that I am RUSHING ANYTHING!

MDW Report (Part 2)

We got home around 1:30... I ran through the shower, painted Minnie's toes and we were headed to L&L's by 2:30....The man loves the windows down... girl with a broken arm who didn't ask anyone to put her hair back for her... not.so.much.

I love these two!

and THESE two :) Minnie was SO excited to see Miss Mean Muggin' :) who was clearly SUPER excited to see her too! 

Sky opened the pool and I couldn't BELIEVE these crazy kids got IN! IT WAS FREEZING!

Chloe has NEVER minded how cold TiTi's pool is... she is ALWAYS in!

and this poor gal WOULD have been... she was getting hot just sitting in the sunshine so Do-Do went to the basement and got her an umbrella and Sky set her up like a QUEEN!

Complete with her dogs! :)

Nick signed his VERY FIRST CAST! (and did a GREAT JOB!)

and who knew... first cast signing for Brando too... not sure why he didn't sign the pink one??

I mean OBVIOUSLY the bowl of cheese poofs is for her... 

It's too bad she's not loved... :)

A FULL but FUN few days... we used Monday to do a few errands (MIL and I ran around Rochester) and RELAX before hitting the ground running this week....

MDW Report (Part 1)

On Saturday we left around 10 and headed SOUTH while everyone else was headed NORTH :) except in this picture where you can see the traffic we are stopped in behind us...

All to get to THIS GIRL! Yes Minnie is teary-eyed... she had rolled her ankle and it scared her... and then Chrissy said something funny which just brought the waterworks back poor thing...

This girl was so happy to meet Daisy :)

While this guy was loving his life with Sky! :)

and of course she let him in her bed... silk pillowcase and ALL! :)

We got to Chrissy and the boys and immediately went outside to enjoy the sunshine and her beautiful backyard!

Miss B was happy for the snuggles (and hair brushing... Chrissy doesn't get to brush GIRL hair :) while the crew was racing bases during an epic wiffle ball game :)

Husband got WORN OUT! Peep Daisy there under his hand :)

I mean... their eyes are EXACTLY the same shade of ANNOYED :)

As soon as Daisy's couch was free (Husband and Chrissy had their coffee here before making us an AMAZING full breakfast) Miss B jumped right over to snuggle the pup!

a quick run to Walgreens for a Sharpie so they could all sign Miss B's cast... with everyone wearing PJ's except Minnie! :)

and the poor girl made is all the way to MA but then lost it... girl does LOVE her some Chrissy.... we all do! :)

Track Fun and Post-Op

Sweet Westbrook family made all of these by hand for ALL the middle school athletes...hand picking the water bottle stickers for each of them...sooo sweet!

On Thursday I met Sky at MIL's and we headed to THE XRAY.... 

WHICH LOOKED GREAT! HOORAY! We have another one next Wednesday and Miss B is popping bone building supplements and drinking chocolate milk so we are NOW optimistic!

We all met up at home and welcomed the track team for a spaghetti dinner! Minnie's LAST one before she is officially part of the team and these two CANNOT WAIT! Remember her FIRST one!??

Nothing breaks the ice like a good 'ol swing and game of Twister :)

We have a much smaller crew than years past... but good girls...and fun to have them at the house!

Miss B Has Surgery....Again

 We were up BRIGHT and early on Tuesday morning after meeting with her ortho Dr on Monday. At the hospital for 5:45AM... yikes! But... better to be on the early side when you are fasting...

We tried to recreate some pictures from 2016.... Only this time it was Bluey...

and once you get past 10 years old... it's an IV... :( again.....this girl was such a champ both Friday and this day... she didn't even flinch and the RN's that put them in did SUCH a great job... not even barely a MARK from either IV. 

It took longer than the last time :( but the Dr. was really trying to get it nice and straight because we are ALL trying to avoid having to put hardware in to hold it stable. You can sort of tell in this picture that the cast is not uniform. He def. wrapped it more in the place of the breaks in hopes that it does.not.move.

She was ROUGH coming out of the anesthesia... she was pawing at her eyes and when I tried to rub her leg and let her know we were there she tried to haul off and SMACK me! :) We did giggle about it and she was ADAMANT that she did NOT WANT TO BE TOUCHED... Uh... my snuggle bunny did not want to be touched? So once the popsicle and smiles came out I felt safe enough to get close (bahahaha) and we did a few more reenactments

  

By about 9:30ish we were OUT... AND SO HAPPY! Blue popsicle teeth, orange cast and all!

We got her home, fed her, gave her some advil and she told me she wasn't tired but.... I had her snuggle in her bed and over 2 and 1/2 hours later she woke up. Hungry and in NO PAIN hooray!!!

Her goal the whole day was to make it to their track meet to support her team. She did it :) And was SO HAPPY to see everyone!

Especially her buddy!!!

Fun to have a fan club! :)

Minnie asked to be the first one to sign the cast.. so as soon as she was done all her events the "ceremonial cast signing" happened... Miss B's term :) hahahaha

It was a LONG and emotional day but to hear my baby say she is not in pain was the BEST thing I could have heard... now we PRAY for the XRAY Thursday and that things are exactly as they should be...
