He came... they saw...he left by 6:54AM!!!

Brando came for dinner, a movie and a sleepover last night. SO FUN (though I'm not sure I am the one that can say that considering I think I spent ONLY about 1.5 hours with him :) Always fun to have this funny guy in our home though! :)

SOMEONE got a new phone :) very cool... JJ you'd be proud... it's a Black-berry :)

In other news... calling all Prayer Warriors. My boss called me into his office yesterday and told me I was going to have to start working in another office.... 50 MINUTES FROM MY HOME vs. my 25 minute commute now. NO IDEA why he thinks this is a good idea but I feel like there are still a few loop holes and I'm hoping to find one that I fit in to be able to stay in my OWN OFFICE doing the same job I am doing now!!! :( PRAY PRAY PRAY!!!

A night with the Y kids and what FUN WE HAD!

The youngest Y ~ A, when asked what SHE wanted for dinner, thought for a minute, looked up and me and said... HOT DOGS!!! :) I took the hot dogs and created a theme. I sent the following email to the two older kids and they jumped right in with BOTH sandled feet :)

"I’m takin’ the theme and RUNNING with it… I’m not kidding when I say we are SO going to pretend it is summer tomorrow night. Wear your shorts (with sweat pants under them) wear your t-shirts with long sleeves under them, wear your shades, your beach hats, and your sunscreen all pasted on your noses so you don’t get burned!!! :)

We are BAR-B-QUE-IN!!!!"

She LOVES me can't you tell!?!?The board pic is indicating that I BEAT THEM ALL!!!! OH YES!!! HUSBAND, A, E... whipped them all!! :)A had fun playing with the dogs...
Zoe had fun POOPING ON MY DECK!!! EEEEEWWWWWWWW!!! B you REALLY should train her to be a LITTLE more modest. Poor Rebound was MORTIFIED! :)

Last night we went over to Almost Forever's to bring dinner, some things for their freezer and help do a few things to get ready for Jr. Mint :) Thanks to HUSBAND'S MAD DRIVING SKILLS we managed to get the Chicken Noodle Soup down our WICKED BUMPY WON'T BE HAVING ANY VISITORS BECAUSE THE ROADS SO BAD UNTIL JUNE driveway. I had a MAD MUCKLE on the Le Cru-Awesome pot and barely spilled but 4-5 drops!!! :)
After dinner it was down to business. Little help? here from Lovergirl. I was def. in her good graces making her favorite choc chip muffins! Too bad I had to use DW'S RECIPIE! Yes, T... you read that right... DW!!!!!

Hello Friends and Family,

This note feels like it's being written after a very dark tunnel ride, and today we are just getting to see the light. We had really good news from the oncologist today. The lymph node of concern did not change sizes, so is considered a non-threat. What this means is we are done with chemotherapy! Hurray!I'll go back for various tests and CT scans on a regular basis as well as to get my blood drawn to monitor the situation. I also have to get the port-a-cath removed, an outpatient surgery. But we have definitely crossed a good point.Thank you all for being with Sarah and me through this. We could not have done it without you. I'll be talking with you all in the coming weeks, but wanted to give a general update and a huge, grateful thank you.Thank you.

How I spent my Sunday...

I'll see your "Bert-day" and raise yah... a trip in the Jeep, Sam's Club, Sears, and a HORRIBLE dinner at Macaroni Grill. (and I mean HORRIBLE!) ~ Apparently next weekend he wants the OCB...OH YAH... THE NASTINESS of food sitting out for hours at a time and watching people consume their weight in grub....

And the day started out SOOOO well too....(insert all my pics)

We took care of four kids that WERE NOT OURS and WE GOT TO RETURN after 1.5 hours...:) We went to a wholesale place with the 'rents and picked out new pool stuff for L&L :) LOVE THIS ISLAND!!! :) Thankfully after our hideous dinner we turned things around (get it :) and had fun on the ride home in the Jeep :) What's that? you are missing the pics? oh... WELL THAT IS BECAUSE I'VE BEEN TRYING TO UPLOAD THEM SINCE LAST NIGHT AND BLOGGER IS NOT COOPERATING!!!! :( :(

Maybe I'll try again this evening.... after a fun dinner at a hippy restaurant with Laura Jane*!!! :)

*updated... no dinner with Laura Jane... she was not feeling her kwirky adorable self so we are post-poning our good time until next week. Stay tuned HB :)

No, but REALLY....Girls Night out at B's for a FOOD party last night. Fun. Fun. :) As you can see Rebound had a blast... :) Here's the hostess doing what she's SUPPOSED to be DOING... EATING! :) IT WAS a FOOD party afterall :) Rebound had a blast... just about as excited as he comes... :)And what would the night BE without some fun from the kidlets?

This is something you HAVE to see in person and if I didn't have dial-up I'd throw a video up... but we like to call it "Bazooka, zooka, bubble gum" :)
