One MORE time...

So I'll jump back on the horse after my last HORRENDOUS camping experience. I'm willing to give it another whirl this summer... Camping is not really MY thing :) I'm more of a rustic cabin looking out over a lake sort of girl. (ones with indoor plumbing and comfy beds to sleep in)

But camping....eh.....I love to be outdoors, I love that Husband cooks everything, I love that I basically just sit in my camp chair and do NOTHING... but sleeping on the ground, public pottys, public showers you have a pay for and can't regulate the temperature, dirt, rain, and soggy food are NOT my idea of the BEST WAY to spend our SEVEN YEAR wedding anniversary :)

Yes, not only are we camping, but its in honor of our anniversary.... :) Leaving as soon as I can bust out of this place Thursday and spending until Sunday.... (so Bets, if you want Chloe-Belle's b-day on Sunday just let us know what time to be back for...we can do IT! said in a Bob the Builder sort of voice :))

I AM looking forward to time with my boys, sun, being outdoors, time with my boys, sun, the lake, sun, time with my boys, hikes/walks through the woods, time with my boys, sun, exploring, time with my boys, and sun.... :)

We have been lovin' our homemade laundry detergent but honestly the grating of the Fels-naptha really STINKS! :(

Husband and I tried a new recipie (KFC Coleslaw) that we are planning to bring to a BBQ at the lake tomorrow so I got to haul out, FOR THE FIRST TIME, SORRY MIL!!! :) my new Kitchenaid shredder attachment. MIL purchased this for me for Christmas and I think it just intimidated me too much to actually figure out how it worked.

Genius for shredding veggies to go into coleslaw.... and then the light bulb... Yah... I'm SO throwing my soap in here (after cleaning the shredder of course!) worked like a CHARM!!! I'll be hauling the kitchenaid out EVERY time we need more laundry detergent.... LOVE IT! :)

Friday night we spent at the LAWN MOWER RACES!!! No, I'm NOT kidding :) there was a whole crew there... oh wait.... that was just OUR family :) It was actually not really well attended since they moved the venue but we had a GREAT time regardless and can't WAIT to go again!!! :)

Yep, that's the pace mower.... :)

And I know this is a FAMILY SHOW but this is just too much redneck funny NOT to show... :) BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHey look, its all the kids that were there... :)

Honestly, CountryDad could TRY to look a LITTLE more impressed. Or maybe he's thinking... THESE are the TWO I GOT??? SERIOUSLY? THESE TWO!?!?!?! :) Sunday after church we headed off to the lake... I'm glad we caught these guys before they took off.... I sure love this little man and he sure loves his Mama :)

I am fortunate enough to be blessed by these women every day... not that they are the ONLY women in my life that bless me but we def. have a connection. I'm so thankful to have them all in my life and I am so thankful that we all had the opportunity to get together and "break bread" (and there sure was a LOT of bread! :)
